Joe Biden wants and needs to satisfy his rabid, ravenous base of pro-abortion fanatics by expanding access to the procedure and allowing more women to kill their unborn babies. Unfortunately for him, there’s a little thing called the Constitution of the United States that’s standing in his way.
Try explaining that to the faces contorted with rage marching in the streets demanding Biden do something about abortion.
The entire radical left of the Democratic Party has become unhinged. They have suggested all kinds of ludicrous alternatives, like building abortion clinics on federal lands or allowing a “carveout” for the filibuster to force a vote on making abortion legal nationwide.
An abortion clinic on a military base, for example, would still leave doctors, women, and anyone who assists in an abortion open to criminal charges in states that outlaw abortion. As for a filibuster carveout, there aren’t even 50 Democratic votes in the Senate for a law that would legalize abortion nationwide.
But Biden has some tricks up his sleeve, many of which would end up being challenged in court.
Biden is expected to instruct the Departments of Justice and Health and Human Services to push back against any state efforts to limit a woman’s ability to go across state lines for a legal abortion or to get federally approved abortion medication, according to the AP report.
In a further attempt to protect women seeking an abortion, Biden’s executive order will also direct agencies to work to educate medical providers and insurers about how and when they are required to share privileged patient information with authorities. He will also ask the Federal Trade Commission to take steps to protect the privacy of those seeking information about reproductive care online.

As far as making abortion pills illegal, that pesky Constitution gets in the way again. The federal government is charged with regulating interstate commerce, and besides, any drug approved by the FDA can be legally sent through the U.S. mail.
An empty gesture to mollify his mindless base. They’re not even smart enough to be offended.

States aren’t going to be allowed to regulate citizen behavior in other States. Conservatives who try it are as bad as the lefties they are fighting. The overturn of RvW is a monumental achievement. But if States are allowed to regulate behavior in other States it won’t stop with abortion. For example Utah will pass laws criminalizing Utahns gambling in Nevada. God only knows what the freaks in California would come up with. They already try taxing people who have left.
My only problem is of a woman, or a friend of that woman, who goes to another state to acquire abortifacient drugs and then brings them back, or consumes them in that other state and then comes back here to deliver her dead baby. The state should be able to restrict that. The entire process should be performed OUT of state.

Mann Act - if a State can make “Moral Character” choices in denying a Concealed Carry permit (NYS after Bruen), then states could also use Mann Act “immoral purposes” language to prohibit traveling for abortion.
Biden rules by fiat and facilitates actions that disregard the Constitution.
Breaking Red states and Blue states of all law and order is key to breaking away from The Constitution.
Trump EO’s were forced fiat, as well, but undergirded The Constitution and threatened no civil rights and encouraged state rights.
This is lifting a middle finger to the Supreme Court just like giving the MOF to Rappinhoe was for Trump awarding one to Rush.

The left is very adept at putting in illegal or unconstitutional orders or “laws” because they know it will take years to sort out legally in the courts. In the mean time they have their way.

Imagine his dismay when its proven to be fake news.
News peeps will start asking about an investigation and charges for the alleged rapist. Why has there been none ? Why did doctors fail to notify law enforcement of this heinous crime....hhhmmm....hmmmm ? Why not.
Politicians do not want to own this, which is why Roe v Wade made them happy on both sides of the aisle. They could rail impotently against the other side of the debate with no actual responsibility.
And they are desperately seeking to get back to that happy place. Passing actual laws would be taking them farther from it.
Just like Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation didn’t free any slaves.
The FDA is the only agency that can stop international shipments of medications. The USPS and CBP are both federally controlled and neither currently will stop shipments of medications from over seas. Only class three narcotics and schedule one drugs are looked for let alone seized. States have zero jurisdiction outside their state lines the Federal supremacy clause and the commerce clause both apply. Internationally not only do States have zero jurisdiction they are expressly prohibited in the constitution from having any powers with foreign governments or relations, treaties or regulations with them that is enumerated in the constitution. If Dutch doctors want to use Indian or Israeli pharmacies to ship pills there is zero the state’s can do to those entities. They could go after the instate person ordering them but the USPS nor CBP will help them intercept mail or open it. The Fed’s have the sole role of international law and relations period full stop.
