BTW, the comments after this article, especially by other academics, are eye-opening. Also, the original article contains several good URL links.

This is a sad and chilling story, but I am very proud of Professor Manson.
I worked for awhile for someone in academia whom I had greatly respected and trusted. Then, one day, I saw his ‘Linked-In’ entry, and that he had been sure to insert the obligatory ‘Equity, Diversity and Inclusion’ routine.
I felt foolish, but glad to know the truth – he just wasn’t as intelligent as I had thought, nor as principled.
I still suspect that one day he will regret selling his soul for a salary and position – (this wasn’t someone without the resources to easily find another position) - but having ‘walked away’ myself, I won’t be around to see it.
Joseph Manson is a hero, a patriot, and a blue martyr.
“Anthropology is the scientific study of humanity, concerned with human behavior, human biology, cultures, societies, and linguistics, in both the present and past, including past human species. Social anthropology studies patterns of behaviour, while cultural anthropology studies cultural meaning, including norms and values.”

As long as enough money is coming in, one can think, study and write.
Could you explain your point? I’m not sure what you mean by your post.
Got out of teaching in Academia college/uni nearly a decade ago and have not looked back. Shame it took this professor the amount of time it did to figure things out.
Maybe he hadn’t witnessed personally the fullness of it yet, or seen it drastically affect someone near him.
Depending on one’s field and the specific University, it has gotten much, much worse in the past 5 years or so.
Point(s) taken. Salute.
Liberty University was once viewed as a joke.
Now they get top tier students and professors thirsting for knowledge.
They will be beating Ivy League collages soon.
Conservative America doesn’t care.
Going to college gets you better pay, so no matter the leftwing obstacles its worth it.
Just listen to conservatives who “think like” liberals on this forum.
They repeat liberal talking point ad nauseam.
They went to school with liberals.
They work with liberals.
Their neighborhood is full of liberals.
They read liberal media and can’t wait to chastise “naughty conservatives” who don’t think like liberals.(I’m a naughty conservative, who thinks for himself BTW)
Eventually they’ll pick a side. I think they’re good people so they’ll pick our side.
However, they need to quit being pussies & toughen up.
Another excellent article by a bright professor. Yes, American colleges and universities are criminal operations. I learned that in 2010. The author needs to take a deep breath and realize his faulty premise. “UCLA is awash in Jew-hatred.” No, UCLA is not awash in Jew-hatred. Proof: majority of teachers are Jews. Fact: UCLA and other schools are awash in the diabolical pride that rejects the Lord and that sends schools to hell. Proof: guest Rabab Abdulhadi was celebrated for being non-Catholic.
News flash: the Catholic Church invented the public school system in the 600’s (Benedictines) and the university system in the 1100’s (St. Anselm).
“And I didn’t know that FR was supposed to be a hive-mind.”
What urban area do you live in?
I’m glad you’re so sensitive about the issue I mentioned😀
this shows you the methodical approach that the left woke crowd has taken to completely take over education-
What a dystopian nightmare!
Credibility from an anthropologist who votes dem? Um… their field should be the most conservative of all. Instead they vote for those whose fruit is violence crime and destruction. Methinks they have one single problem… their heart prefers this evil that clearly has a history of sheer evil. Why would that be o learned one? What a tortured soul.glad he is teaching others to think the same way.
Jeff had developed simulation models of the geographic and temporal patterning of urban crime, and had created predictive software that he marketed to law enforcement agencies.
I’m trying to think how many years I’d have to go back to a time I WOULDNT sense big trouble for this guy upon hearing the above description.
