The story of Babel is the best metaphor I have found for what happened to America in the 2010s, and for the fractured country we now inhabit. Something went terribly wrong, very suddenly. We are disoriented, unable to speak the same language or recognize the same truth. We are cut off from one another and from the past.

Mostly because Americans are too stupid to know that anyone born with more than ONE nationality is NOT NATURALLY an American.
Natural born citizens have only ONE nationality, it was that singularity of nationality that the founders were requiring to keep foreigners like Obama out of the office of CIC.
The author obviously has a blind spot. The author is able to compare/contrast modern day America and Babylon of ancient times. But the author does not address that both times and places came to the same sorry end for the same reason. Both places thought they were superior to God.

We thought that by electing a black President that we could put all the racism and accusations of racism into the past. It might have worked too. The problem was that the black President was a Democrat.
