The number of children and adolescents with a diagnosis somewhere along the autism spectrum continues to rise.
According to the latest research out of Guangdong Pharmaceutical University in China, as of 2020, one out of every 30 kids is now considered autistic, a 52% jump from 2017.
Though data from the CDC puts the number closer to one in 44, the numbers are still rising, prompting many medical professionals, teachers, and parents to try to discover the cause.
Thursday on Twitter, BlazeTV host Steve Deace posited the question, "What’s the benign, innocent explanation for this [rise in autism]?"
The answer seems to be consistent from experts across various fields: changes in diagnosis and understanding of autism.
Back in 2015, Annette Estes, director of the University of Washington's Autism Center in Seattle, said, "People who are in the field are generally in consensus that the majority of the increase is due to progress in our ability to diagnose and identify people with autism in a broader spectrum than used to be possible."
For example, some behaviors once diagnosed as an intellectual disability are now considered manifestations of autism.
PBS also cautioned in 2018 that though statistical increases like 52% sound daunting, they often represent a very small fraction of an increase — in some cases, less than a quarter of a percentage point —when placed within the context of the population as a whole.

Kids are able to see lame ass doctors who will be more than happy to slap autism, etc. stickers on their foreheads....
Notably, this is effectively pre-COVID.
This is not normal. What are they putting in the food, water, vaccines, etc to cause this? Or, are there doctors just diagnosing gets with autism for some monetary reason?
You think there was that large an increase in vaccines in any 3-year period leading up to the study and since 2000?

I was first figuring the vaccine, but if they’re just coming up with new things to call ‘autism’ then this field of ‘research’ needs to be severely reined in. Human beings are all different & we don’t behave the same. Trivial differences, however odd, are not a sign of disease.
Some years ago I ran a call on a mid 20’s patient who was Autistic non verbal. In the course of the call, dad said when the patient was a child, they were taken in for routine childhood vaccines. The child, who had been a normal kid reacted to the vaccine in the doctors office, was rushed from the office to the ER and had been a non verbal Autistic since that day.
That part was not really relevant to the call and I felt dad just thought it was his duty to warn us of how it happened.

A family member has autism. They say’s it’s genetic but that cannot account for the sharp rise worldwide.
Either 1) something in the environment is damaging DNA or 2) something is damaging the nervous system which, though having genes associated with autism, would normally compensate.
Now take a look at dementia rates in females. Then take a look at Parkinson’s in males. Even taking out age as a factor rates have shot up dramatically at the very time autism and ADHD rates started going up.
If you can figure out what the environmental trigger is you will receive a Nobel Prize in medicine.
I’ve read about it for years and there are some factors that correlate with nervous system disorders but no universal causation can be found.

That’s about 45-50 years before rates started to rise.
That exact thing happened when a friend’s son got the MMR vaccine. He just fell apart.
Fortunately he’s smart. He was valedictorian this year from one of the most difficult high schools in the city.

I had the medical records of a 20 yr old cross my desk. She had been given 41 vaccines in her short life. I’ve heard they’re up to about 72 vaccines now.
Funny how our 3 & 4-letter govt health agencies haven’t managed to do a single study in all the years they’ve been in existence about the safety of these injected chemicals.
It’s possible that the childhood vaccines are impacting people 30-40-50 years down the road, but we’ll never know because no one wants to know.
