I drive the hippy types crazy in NY when I show my driver license as a form of ID. Amazing that you have to show ID at so many venues, yet the most precious right we have , they want to blow it off.

Never forget that pubbies put the National Voter Registration Act if 1993, aka Motor Voter Law, over the top.

Professors Cloward and Piven attended the Bill Clinton signing ceremony.

Oh.

Arizona Republican Rep. Andy Biggs expressed his shock over the lawsuit.

"DOJ doesn't think you should prove that you're an American to vote in an American election. DOJ is suing Arizona over proof of citizenship requirements," he wrote. "Unbelievable."

That’s great, but why is it so difficult for Republicans to bluntly state the obvious: The dems WANT illegals and other non-citizens to vote. They want to import citizens of other countries to outvote Americans, a seditious act that should have all of them swinging from ropes.

Thank you for posting that alancarp. If you have not seen the following material related to this state voter qualification issue, you may find it interesting.

"The DOJ argues the requirement is "a textbook violation [??? emphasis added] of the National Voter Registration Act," according to The Hill."

FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument

From related threads...

In stark contrast to the Justice Department's misguided (imo) claim that proof of US citizenship as a qualification for voting in US elections violates federal law, please consider the following.

The congressional record clearly indicates that post-Civil War federal lawmakers had appropriately pointed out that renegade states that allow non-citizens to vote defeats the purpose of the Constitution's "Uniform rule of Naturalization Clause" (1.8.4).

So the "Arizona" problem is arguably DOJ interpretation problem (anti-Trump weaponization?) of federal election law, not a problem with Arizona voter qualification requirements imo.

Also consider that the 14th Amendment (14A) was ratified a short while after the above excerpts were noted in the congressional record. Section 2 of that amendment a penalty for states that weaken the voting power of qualified citizens in any way which the Justice Department probably has the job of policing (ahem) imo, correction welcome.

Excerpted from 14A...

Corrections, insights welcome.

Also regarding voting, Trump's red tsunami of patriot supporters are reminded that they must vote twice this election year. Your first vote is to primary career RINO incumbents. Your second vote is to replace outgoing Democrats and RINOs with Trump-endorsed patriot candidates.

Again, insights welcome.

AG Brnovich is a one trick pony and he’s out of tricks. The only way he’ll ever hold another elected public office is if they cheat him into office, you know, like the same way democrats get into public office. I smell toast!!

Yup. The guy was as silent as a tomb after the fraudulent elections even though Arizonans were begging him to say something. Now that election time is near, he suddenly emerges and starts saying all the right things on some issues (but still silent on the election). Buy a vowel for your last name, traitor, and get out of town.

The leftist agenda certainly includes the continuous attempt to redefine plain language, morphing into something completely unrecognizable (and then finding a court to endorse such viewpoints)... last week’s EPA SCOTUS decision is a prime example.

Maybe one day the justice department will sue states over their infringement of arms.

Arizona has passed a law that turns the clock back on progress...

Regression in voter verification and honest, fair elections.

In many states, illegal aliens are legally allowed a drivers license.

Foreign citizens, including Americans, who live in Mexico can’t vote or even own property. Mexico also has photo I.D. to vote.

Just out of curiosity, what documents does Arizona accept as proof of citizenship?
