One source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, argued there’s no rush for Trump to declare his candidacy. Trump remains the most popular and influential figure in the Republican Party, the source said, and the former president could afford to wait until he has a clearer campaign infrastructure in place before throwing himself fully into a White House campaign.
In the meantime, advisers close to the former president said Trump will continue holding rallies for his endorsed candidates across the country as a way to address his most ardent supporters and test out potential attack lines for a would-be campaign.

He may be trying to force Cheney’s hand. Think about it -if she does nothing she’ll be hammered. If she recommends action against Trump it will further divide Republicans will have unpredictable consequences because we would be uncharted waters. No one can predict the political fallout, impact on independents, down-ticket races, etc. You can bet she is getting tremendous pressure from both sides, and while she probably realizes her career in congress is over, I don’t see her just going away quietly. If she is really thinking about running in 2024 then without a doubt that will dominate her thinking. What’s best for the country always comes after what’s best for ME with people like her.
Don’t have my glasses on and read it as, Trump flirtation with 2024 rum growing more serious.

The people of the Hill are cowards and don’t want comments anymore about this subject. Wonder why? Also who is the “source”? I quit going on American Thinker because of that. It tells me they don’t want to worry that someone might say something they don’t like.
