Only 2 lease sales completed in 2018. Apparently, from this article, 11 were proposed for 2022/3. So few completed in 2018 from Trump’s program for the most important reason of all — there was no oil there.
You can’t walk out into the desert in Nevada and expect to find underground. Oil isn’t everywhere. You can’t even go places where you know oil has been produced — because it was indeed produced and now it’s empty.
This 10 lease number is more than during Trump years. It doesn’t matter of green focus doesn’t want drilling. You don’t have to be green to be disinclined to spend millions drilling where you know there is no oil.
Can Biden cite the exact part of the Constitution that grants him the authority to ban drilling anywhere, except his back yard?

I’m getting tired of conservative commentators and analysts who don’t seem to understand what is really going on. The people setting policies in the WH are not environments. It has nothing whatsoever to do with climate change or the environment. Climate change is just a front. They are Marxists, and Climate Change is the new home of Marxists around the world. Put another way, they are watermelons - green on the outside, but red on the inside.
They are Marxists who hate free market capitalism. Anything they propose in the name of the environment makes free market capitalism less efficient, more costly, or both. They also know that an abundance of energy at reasonable prices is the Mothers-milk of free market capitalism. So Obama (who is really running this administration) and all his lieutenant Marxists set out of day one to destroy our energy production and distribution - put our economy in the ditch so people will start pleading for the federal government to do something, and Obama has the answer - transform this country into a socialist/communist country.
So conservative commentators and analysts need to get their head out of their ass, figure out what is really going on, and start informing the American people.
