The Germans suffer from deep guilt. They have become, as a population, pacifists. I have watched that evolution personally from 1969 to the present. Their greatest fear is neo-Nazism and a revival of militarism.

As a member of NATO, they agreed to participate in Afghanistan, but stipulated their troops would only serve in a non-combat role. Germany is now putting an additional $100 billion into defense due to Ukraine. I doubt that commitment lasts very long.

Germany likes to see itself as the middleman between the West and Russia. The Germans and Soviets inflicted the greatest casualties on one another during WII. We sometimes forget that the Soviet Union was primarily responsible for the defeat of the Third Reich.

As many as 27 million Soviets lost their lives, with as many as 11.4 million military deaths joined by up to 10 million civilian deaths due to military activity and an additional 8 million to 9 million deaths due to famine and disease.

80 percent of all German military casualties occurred on the Eastern Front. Germany lost 5.5 million soldiers and 1.8 million civilians. One of them was my father in law.

Will Murray put on her Air Jordans and start going door to door about Handmaidens Tale coming to USKKK?

Something tells me she’ll need a bottle of oxygen or two.

Old, ugly cat lady.

Natural gas is a global commodity. The US is exporting LNG to Europe. The rising price is just a product of supply and demand.

Washington (like many blue states) has a corrupted election system...the chances of Murray losing, unfortunately are nil...unless a miracle happens.

I now you don't usually count CBS "Sunday Morning" in the list but they went out of their way in a segment about politicians putting country above party. I thought "Okay, very noble" until their propagandist hailed Ms. Pinocchio, er, Hutchison and Lizard Cheney as patriotic truth-tellers in that mold, then strongly asserted Trump "grabbed the wheel".

Right after that "Face the Nation" continued the assault on reality seeing Mayorkis lying about the border followed by Schiff blowing more smoke about the Unselect Committee. DNC representative Brennan asked him about Hutchison testifying about Trump orchestrating insurrection.

Is there anything this "witness" can't glean with her obvious psychic powers? Can I get next week's Powerball numbers from her?

Mississippi is 15 weeks. It will be interesting to see if Alabama changes its laws due to public pressure. Each state will have the debate. CA, NY, NJ, IL, etc. will retain abortion on demand, for now. I hope there will be a grassroots movement in those states to put restrictions on abortions. A strong majority of Americans favor no late term abortions.

You can tell Dr.Blaylock is over the target since some of the far lefties are already shooting at him. IMHO,he’s a brilliant guy and we need more doctors at his level of expertise to stand up tall like he does.

Great to see someone like him “ truth telling” and naming names.

Group planning on August visit to Marathon. Will stop by to see you.

Molly points out that current abortion legislation after our win reflects more what is done internationally.

She is always a good commentator. Does her homework, and navigates the twists of the moderator very well.

In addition comes with “ incovienient facts” to offset the propaganda...

Great graphics as usual.

Good to see some actual impacts to offset the Biden slow frog boil type of we need to do this.

Saw a brief segmenton local affiliate, where a stat of having 60% electric cars by 2030 was a goal.

Must not have polled well, as have never seen it again

An even scarier proposition:

JPMorgan Sees ‘Stratospheric’ $380 Oil on Worst-Case Russian Cut

Global oil prices could reach a “stratospheric” $380 a barrel if US and European penalties prompt Russia to inflict retaliatory crude-output cuts, JPMorgan Chase & Co. analysts warned.

The Group of Seven nations are hammering out a complicated mechanism to cap the price fetched by Russian oil in a bid to tighten the screws on Vladimir Putin’s war machine in Ukraine. But given Moscow’s robust fiscal position, the nation can afford to slash daily crude production by 5 million barrels without excessively damaging the economy, JPMorgan analysts including Natasha Kaneva wrote in a note to clients.

For much of the rest of the world, however, the results could be disastrous. A 3 million-barrel cut to daily supplies would push benchmark London crude prices to $190, while the worst-case scenario of 5 million could mean “stratospheric” $380 crude, the analysts wrote.

“The most obvious and likely risk with a price cap is that Russia might choose not to participate and instead retaliate by reducing exports,” the analysts wrote. “It is likely that the government could retaliate by cutting output as a way to inflict pain on the West. The tightness of the global oil market is on Russia’s side.”

You likely have a better idea than most of us, kabar....in light of the SC’s EPA ruling, how much of Obama/Biden’s administrative past actions can now be challenged ?

Certainly much more than this EPA ruling.

Sending authority solely back to Congress means nothing will get done, which is beautiful.
