President Joe Biden may face a primary challenge if he runs for re-election in 2024.
Analysts speculate Illinois Governor JB Pritzker may be eyeing the White House despite his claims that his focus remains on the state's upcoming gubernatorial race.
Pritzker said Wednesday it is 'certainly possible' Biden would face a Democrat challenger, but added: 'It's not something I'm encouraging.'

Tangent on your point about the “Senator with a weird name”: I was without a car for a few months in 1990 and needed to take a long bus trip to work. I took the paper and read it much more thoroughly than I usually did. Way inside the paper there was a very short piece about the Harvard Law Review electing their first black editor, who was described as a student from Kenya. Can you guess who it was? I don’t know why that little article stuck with me, but I remembered it years later when he won his senate seat and, obviously, ever since

I grew up in south Chicago. I listened to the MAGA candidate who was with Trump at the Illinois rally. He gave a great speech - Darren Bailey and won with 57% of the vote. Next challenger down got in the teens. What is even funnier is that the Dems gave Bailey millions so he would defeat the RINO candidates. Well he won, thank you very much. But I think this will backfire on the Dems. They thought Pritzker would easily defeat Bailey but I don’t think so. They will have funded their defeat. Delicious. I think Pritzker knows it is coming. Plus if it is found out that one of his kids was a bully in that lawsuit he is toast. Could be why he is floating the idea of going up against Biden in 2024. Somehow it just stinks.
