Not long ago, I read a book by an Orthodox priest from England who visited Mt. Athos in about 2013 or 2014. On several different occasions, monks approached him - unsolicited - and warned of coming terrible times - for the world, for Europe and America, and especially for Christians.

Despite their relative isolation from most media, they seemed to know what is coming. One even spoke in some detail about the plans for the New World Order.
