Right, it's more than the headlines. In Oct. 2021 I cut myself off from all media, pop culture, news, you name it, for over a year. All I knew was who was inaugurated, Rush Limbaugh died and the most basic virus stats. I was hoping for the fabled boost in well being by staying off the web.

Didn't matter, the air was thick and rank. Insidious and oppressive.
