Well yeah - 9 justices must have a staff of hundreds, even thousands, millions of people under them that had access to those documents. It’s an impossible task to question them all…

I have a feeling someone on the liberal side leaked it.
Who had motive or anything to gain from the leak? I can’t see how anyone on the conservative side had anything to gain from leaking. But I can see how someone liberal had some motive and hope to change the outcome through leaking.
I think if anyone on the conservative side had done this, that would have been publicized. I think that John Roberts and maybe other justices know exactly who the leaker is, but have chosen not to publicly state who it is.
Most likely - but the question is - was it a conservative justice to the galvanize the right or a liberal one to try to scare off the conservative ones?

If it was a justice there’s nothing anyone can do (short of impeachment/conviction). The clerks - they are not permanent appointments. As far as I know, the justice is the selecting official - however the CJ might have to sign off on a reappointment.
Maybe in the future, opinions will have minor changes distributed to each justice so if the opinion is leaked they’ll have an idea who leaked.
It was Roberts!!! No doubt about it. He always votes the majority of important cases with the rats and he was trying to switch a couple of the justices to vote with him. Mark my words down the road we’re gonna find out it was him.
Yes, it would take a miracle so solve such a complicated mystery.
And it always will remain a mystery because “democrat”. Now, if only someone would dox the little turd and let nature take its course, that would be nice.
