The Supreme Court handed President Joe Biden a victory Thursday, ruling that he can shut down a Trump administration program designed to restrict immigration at the southern border.

The court said in a 5-4 ruling that the Biden administration acted properly in seeking to end the "Remain in Mexico" policy, formally known as the Migrant Protection Protocols. It required people seeking asylum at the southern border, mainly from Central America, to wait in Mexico while their claims were decided.

Nea DO NOT despair, MANY, MANY of these migrants are ESCAPING exactly what Biden is doing to this country, there will be many of these migrants returning home themselves BECAUSE it has become so expensive to live here they won’t be able to make it they will self deport!! Those that end up staying are going to turn on the democrats just as they are now, many, many migrants RIGHT NOW are voting our way and actually SAVING US from socialism, communism, Marxism which they HAVE LIVED under unlike our spoiled brat college educated IDIOTS that think socialism and communism are just wonderful!! We have to take the good with the bad!! Biden was NOT obeying the law of remain in Mexico anyway he is totally disregarding any laws!!

The only possible solution is thru the legislature, even then the liberals will seek to undermine any new law.

Republicans if they are smart, which most of them are not, should make immigration one of the central issues of their platform.

Between now and 2024, Biden will allow in another 4-5 million people at a minimum.

I wish some would read before shooting their mouths. It goes back to the lower court who actually is a good judge.

Illegals fly first class from the middle east to Mexico so they can 'sneak across' the border.

DOES THAT MAKE SENSE?

Have YOU ever asked yourself why they don't just fly first class into New York rather than to Mexico?

The border patrol and liberal 'pity party' stories have created a pass for illegals 'who risk their lives to get here'..Which is bullshit. And it's the reason illegals fly to Mexico and why the stupid toadies in the press are part of the reason this is happening.

While I agree with you, I would like to see what Thomas and the dissent wrote.

Unfortunately, the Republicans have no plan to deport any of these invaders once they retake the power in Washington.

The donor class has decreed there shall be open borders and the assistant democrats must obey their masters.

Ultimately, this is a good decision as it places the power to curtail immigration with the president.

So why couldn’t Trump end DACA?

They’ve been talking about it on Steve Bannon’s War Room, the major complaint is Republican Administrations have to jump thru more hoops to issue executive orders versus Biden and Obama.

It wasn’t a case of did Biden have the power to reverse the executive order only a matter of process.

See they had to give the left a victory. You can’t have Roe then the remain policy both decisions go our way. It’s not “fair”.

Staring into a smart phone at the border is a far cry from destitution. They're lazy ass, arrogant beggars who are coming here to mooch off our welfare programs.

The silver lining might be Daca, was that not an executive order as well? (Allowing Trump #2 to rescind it as well?)

This! Don't flame me but I think this decision is correct. It would also apply to whatever Joe's replacement will do (Dear God, let it be Trump or DeSantis!). It also applies to the ridiculousness of not allowing PDJT to undo Obama's EOs.

Well, 100 acres, how long is the acreage?

They’ll need the Wall, roads on both sides for patrols or maintenance.

It’s never just a great fence, it’s more than most people think.

I have 24 1/2 acres.

If the Wall was built on my longest side which is about a mile long……..about 50 yards of space from one side of the Wall to the other side. For vehicles like I said and the Wall itself.

Then the State will need a court ordered “Right Away” giving them access without your permission.

It’s quite intrusive.

I would lose about 10 plus acres.

That’s how I read it as well - new admin can undo what previous admin did if it’s an EO. Always been that way.

Bigger question that wasn’t asked or addressed is whether the FED Govt is performing it’s duty in executing the laws on the books and defending the States from invasion.

Roberts sided with the Liberals on the court on that one.

On the other hand Roberts wrote the majority opinion that cut down the EPA’s broad CO2 over reach.

Obama nor Trump ever issued a EO on daca. That was just policy aka executive action. If the dude said there was a EO, he’s wrong.
