As far as I’m concerned anyone who renounces our Constitution is committing treason. If they don’t like it, there is a process to modify it.
And this was in the 18th century (that's 1700's to those of you in Rio Linda). I see it as the First Great Awakening batting a couple of singles to get some men on base but not quite bring them home, then the Second Great Awakening hitting some singles and doubles to bring home the runners and win the game.
To me, what God did through the great awakenings is nothing short of amazing.
And yet the author of the article has a wallet full of pictures slave owners that he touches every day.
Obviously, the remedy is to get rid of the Constitution and enslave ourselves to the tender mercies of the Department of Justice and little adam schiff.

last week they loved the constitution and were appalled Trump tried to circumvent it on Jan 6th.

The Constitution is the Supreme Law of the Land ratified by the American People and the States thereof. The Constitution and the Declaration of Independence are maybe the most inspired political documents besides the Bible, ever created, and created the freest country maybe ever guided by just Rule of Law and the envy of the world.
What? Because the Founders were not perfect you want to throw away the framework of the envy of the world? And, what, replace it with your bloody tyranny of the Rule of Man with your oppressive third-world totalitarian government?
Freedom isn’t perfect, but it’s way ahead of whatever’s in second place.

Which part of the constitution speaks specifically about or lays out the ground rules for treating slaves. Where in the constitution are slaves or slave owners mentioned. How is the constitution specifically against slaves or any race?

it is unfair to judge the past with today’s morality and social acumen... just as those in the past had done to those they thought were of lower status.
judging the enslaved through the tainted scope of superiority as those who they enslaved as less than human, today’s moral judgement unfairly pictures those people in the past as evil and inhumane, when they were just living as life was shown to be.
placing a moral equiveillance on past practices is just as bad as what was practiced in the past; and it would have continued without the foresight of those sought change, not by condemning those in the past, but seeing what the future could be.

Do these morons understand the basics of the Constitution, why and how it was written? My ancestors fled to America in 1720, a treacherous trip over the Atlantic. They were escaping religious tyranny, persecution, torture and death with no means of protecting themselves. Their children and grandchildren became patriots in the American Revolution, who vowed to never be at the mercy of a tyrannical rule again. They were poor farmers who NEVER OWNED SLAVES, they were the slaves to their beliefs and they WON. NOW, patriots are being persecuted again, and losing.
Just think. If it wasn’t for those pesky “slaveowners”, Candy would be living in a grass hut, wearing a grass skirt and no shirt while posing for National Geographic. THINK ABOUT IT.
Every people have been slaves to other people at one time or another.
