It just might. I’m in Georgia and Kemp, et al, never seem to amaze me.
If he’s re-elected, it just might happen, because he has a Republican legislature that, for some reason, will not oppose him on anything. If Abrams wins in November, the legislature will oppose her on everything.
You may or may not know/remember, but Kemp was the first Governor that wanted the Afghan’s that flooded the US military planes. He’s too stupid and greedy to know that over 97% of them were NOT part of the SIV program. Yet, there he was, wanting to welcome them to the Peach State. Until someone had a little chat with him.
So, you might be right. Hopefully, I’ll be out of here by then as this place isn’t worth it anymore, regardless if it is Kemp or Abrams, as they are two sides of the same coin. Sad that so many cannot see that.
What good is free healthcare for illegals if they are malnourished? Shouldn’t they get free food too? And lodging?
Before coming home to Texas I spent most of my life in Western NY. From my suburban front door I saw mostly conservative voters other than the inner cities (Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse). We tended think and vote center-right but it didn’t matter, NYC and smaller cities carried the state for the Dems. No matter what traction we gained on the Right, the State pushed Left.
I’d imagine your experience in California is similar. Perhaps you see an active Conservative party, Republicans pushing legislation in the Statehouse, know of reliably right voting areas of the State..... But the net result isn’t there. LA, SF and other large cities are in control and they deliver the country a Pelosi, Finestein, Schiff, Lofgren, Waters, Swalwell, etc. California is a reliably Left impact in the nation until enough people on the Right can change it. I hope it happens. Soon.
I’m thinking that California has a half life of Californium.

Reason #1,294 why I’m thankful to be leaving my home state after 56 years. Only 3 more weeks of this hellhole.
And their governor will run for President.
What about “documented” Californians who live on the poverty line?

Free, free, free! I’m self identifying as an illegal alien today.

2 solutions:
1. leave the state for another with more free stuff and better cardboard boxes;
2. go to Mexico and come back as an undocumented illegal
The CA legislature is 75% Democrat, the CA senate is 72% Democrat. The Bay Area, the coast, Sacramento and LA account for most of the state’s population and we all know how they vote. The Central Valley, Inland Empire, Sierra Foothills and everything north of Mendocino is strongly conservative but the population there isn’t nearly enough.
I too am “coming home to Texas”. It counts that my wife was born in Amarillo right? :)
And the lawsuits are starting exactly when? How many voters were affected?
If you think that would save the black person exporting states money, it’s probably a good idea for them.
Gotta get rid of Governor Hairgel.
Hopefully someday California will present the next Ronald Reagan, and hopefully by then we will have our act together on voting integrity.
California taxpayers to provide health care for non tax paying ilegales.
Would they be doing this if they hadn’t received so much bail-out money disguised as COVID relief?
They have their own printing press now.
“Majority of CA opposes abortion and illegal aliens but you obviously didn’t know that since you only believe what the mainstream media tells you about California”
Unfortunately for Californians the government doesn’t care what the citizens want. Californians didn’t want homo marriage but they got it. A number of things that Californians voted down at the polls but California politicians had Judges over rule.
If Californians want something different they need to change the politicians.
