"Death is the ultimate cost containment"
The Justices have had their say, and now the corporate bean-counters are having theirs.
Even $10,000.00 for abortion travel is cheaper than a full term pregnancy, labor and delivery, maternity leave, childhood pediatrician visits, etc.
Crass, cruel, and calculating.
I thought women wanted to be treated the same as men?...
Have I been lied to?
I just don’t believe the demand for abortion is that high. I think there’s a lot of screaming for the sake of screaming going on.
Did the Biden Admin tell them they’ll reimburse them ?
And this will kill woke companies.
Imagine if corporations were doing this in the 1850’s when the Republican party made headway in individual states abolishing slavery. “We’ll proudly pay the expenses of slave owners to move you and your slaves to a state that still honors your right to keep slaves.”
Business will make the best financial decision, abortion is cheaper than delivery.
The Abortion Bound will become a status protected by law. Admired in dominant culture as defiant heroines they will be lauded and showered with gifts and privilege. All at your expense.
But they would never pay a family to actually have a child. So many people jus demand the right to murder babies.
Their choice. Next
THEIR employees.
“Even $10,000.00 for abortion travel is cheaper than a full term pregnancy, labor..”
A further calculation will reveal the corporations will not incur those expenses. A woman wanting an abortion will not be dissuaded by her employer’s benefit package.
The corps are virtue signaling and desirous to kill babies. That is the bottom line.
Babies cost money in benefits.
Did some bean counter figure this cost versus maternity leave?
Bingo
Kill your child then get back here and serve that latte, is a lot better on the ledger than 6 weeks of maternity leave and 26yrs of health insurance.
True, but in the long run, no babies, no society, no civilization. That is, no future. Sad.
Businesses and governments have been plagued by short term thinking...very few take a long view of ANYTHING.
One is forced to wonder how in the world the CEOs of these corporations rose to the top.
SMH...NO foresight, NO thought ...if we do THIS...what will happen to THAT.
Big corporations today aren’t very concerned about ‘civilization’, or much about ‘future’ beyond five or ten years.
