A former West Virginia lawmaker who livestreamed himself on Facebook storming the U.S. Capitol and cheering on what he described as a "revolution" was sentenced Wednesday to three months in prison.
Derrick Evans, 37, who pleaded guilty to a felony civil disorder charge, told the judge that he regrets his actions every day and is a "good person who unfortunately was caught up in a moment."
Apology or not, he should not have entered the building. Only two types of people went inside.

No, many naive people went inside. Innocents who went through a door opened by staff who beckoned them inside, believing that an open door and a welcome by staff meant they weren’t trying to entrap.
I don’t know that they mean the same thing. I misspoke before; my wife is “storming” the grocery store; I am going to “storm” the swimming pool. These days “storm” seems to mean “peacefully enter.” It’s hard to tell.
