A gunman went on a terrifying rampage in a gay bar and surrounding streets in Oslo on Saturday, killing two people and seriously injuring 10 on the day the city's LGBTQ community was due to celebrate its annual Pride parade.
The victims were shot inside and outside the London Pub, a well-known gay bar and nightclub open since 1979, as well as at one other bar in the centre of the Norwegian capital.
A suspect, a 42-year-old Norwegian citizen of Iranian origin, was detained minutes after, according to police who said they believed he acted alone. Two weapons, including a fully automatic gun, were retrieved from the crime scene, they added.

Yet the oddest thing to me is their (apparent) love of Muslims. People who due to their religious nature are fundamentally against much of what they believe.
I mean Norway would rather die probably than say accept a few thousand conservative red necks from say Arkansas. Yet Rednecks are imbued with a sense of freedom…let people do as they like and would probably be much more tolerant.

SO I just checked on Norway gun laws. To own a firearm, you must prove your need and the specific use of said firearm. You must also take significant training courses and be a vary active member of a gun club.
Automatic firearms are absolutely banned. I wonder how many laws Shaheed broke?

Me and my then girlfriends were sitting on a street corner park bench when we heard all this ruckus going on, glass breaking, objects hitting the pavement, people,shouting. We ran over ot see what was going on and out comes a tear gas canister and landed about 8 feet away. Spinning around, shooting the gas everywhere. The wind caught it and smacked us right In The face witn it- instant stinging eyes. By thst time the bar was clearing out and the drama was unreal. Sure it stung, but they were acting like it was their last few minutes on earth lol.
We went back to the park,and watched it all unfold lol. It was kind of miserable for a little bit, but didn’t last too long. They ended up getting the person that did it, and charged em with a hate crime.
And gays’ support for iranina swarming will diminish 0 %, because all iranians look like freddy mercury.
That’s impossible! I thought Norway had “some of the most restrictive” gun laws in the EU? You mean a bad guy (and mental case) ignored the laws, got a gun, and killed a some people? Must have been an American ex-pat…Norwegians would never do that. /s
Agreed. Can’t wait for abomination month to be over. Sick of the rainow logos on all the networks. I haven’t noticed Amazon being too overt about it though this year like,they were a few years ago. But I haven’t been to the site much either- I go,there ot,check prices, then see where I can get soemthing cheaper like from overstock or whever. Maybe I just didn’t notice, but a few years ago,they plastered everything with abomination celebrating messages.
