As news of the Supreme Court's decision to end constitutional protections for abortion spread Friday morning, many in Southern California responded with a simple question: Where do we protest?
The overturning of the landmark 1973 Roe vs. Wade decision will not hinder reproductive health access in California, where abortion will continue to be protected under state law. But the landscape on the ground will look painfully different in other parts of the country.
The first Los Angeles crowds began to gather around noon outside a federal courthouse downtown .
Standing with the growing crowd, Francisca Romero, a 25-year-old actress originally from Uruguay, described the Supreme Court decision as a tipping point in the country.
The green bandana tied around her neck was similar to the ones worn by women's rights activists in Mexico and Argentina when they fought for abortion rights, she said. Other volunteers and organizers wore their own green bandanas printed with the words "Overturn Roe? Hell no!"
"To me it feels like we're going back in time," Romero said. She couldn't believe this moment was happening in the United States.
The crowd outside the courthouse quickly grew to more than a hundred people, then 200.
"This is a point we can either mobilize and come together and say, 'Enough is enough. We won't stand for it.' Or we're going to sit back and be complacent to violence," said Becca Waite, a 34-year-old organizer with Rise Up 4 Abortion Rights and a traveling emergency room nurse currently working in Orange County.

California will be the go to destination for abortions in America. Governor Gruesom all but said that if Roe V Wade was overturned. Abortion will become a big business in the state. If San Jose can be Silicon Valley then LA and its suburbs can become “Abortion Alley”!
Not only can you kill a baby up until birth in California, but the legislature there is working on a bill to allow a baby to be killed AFTER birth, with no penalties attached.
California is lost, headed for the abyss. I wouldn’t be surprised if the big earthquake which is coming at some point just opens up the earth and swallows a portion of this decrepit state.

The left HAS to stir up rage to detract from how miserable their policies have turned out. They use the “right” to murder an innocent as leverage for their own power. Pure evil.

This decision won’t change anything in California because abortion was legal here before Roe v Wade. That gets ignored by our local stormtrooper feminists.
But once they do figure it out they will declare war on states that prohibit abortion and descend on them as the latest plague coming out of California. Lucky you.

No one on any news outlet I know about has had to produce evidence of the women’s “health” involved in allowing women to go to abortion mills to kill preborn babies there.
Certainly not the babies’ health.
I am honest.
Here is a line stating how a tiny amount of women are medically in danger and the abortion helps them:
“ A study published in Guttmacher’s International Family Planning Perspectives in 1998 said risk to a woman’s health was the main reason for 2.8% of U.S. abortions in 1987-88.”
and
“Most abortions are not for health reasons. The non-profit Guttmacher Institute says three-quarters of women having abortions say they can’t afford a child, and an equal number say having a baby would interfere with work, school and the ability to care for others, including existing children.”

Back in time? I’ve been wishing for that for years. Please take me back to the 70’s - 80’s when things actually made sense! At least the music would be better.
Again, why do we, on the right, not have a similar get out and protest system in place for when congress takes away our gun rights?!
Congress just signed off on the red flag law where they can take away your guns because you sneezed in public and it’s headed to Biden’s desk.
Why are there no protests for this willful violation of our rights while the democrats get their protest PR machine into full swing?!
