Since the start of the year, the ruble has soared 40% against the dollar — outperforming every other currency in the world.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has touted the ruble’s robust recovery as proof that his economy has successfully withstood the onslaught of Western sanctions.
“The idea was clear: crush the Russian economy violently,” Putin told an economic forum in St. Petersburg last week. “They did not succeed. Obviously, that didn’t happen.”

The saddest thing about Dem policies is they always come back to bite them, AND US.
Our so-called leaders are so wise. They always see 2nd and 3rd order consequences of their decisions. We need to keep electing people to office that have no experience outside the bubbles of state capitols and Washington DC. They are infallible.
Most politicians and political hacks who make stupid statements for propaganda purposes are eventually proven wrong. Sometimes it takes a while, but it eventually happens.
