That’s almost exactly what I just told a friend who sent me an item on this.

“Promising! But they’ll ignore it for the most part, while acting as if they’re complying. Fundamentally, our modern Left couldn’t care less about the law and the concept of equal treatment under it.”

They’ll just raise the permit price from ~$5k to $10k, to compensate for the 2nd Amendment Freedoms.

NY may have no choice since 2nd Amendment CCW is now a constitutionally protected right that subjects the state to damages, including attorneys, under 42 U.S.C. ยง1983.

With that said, today’s decision recognizes that the right to carry CCW is not absolute and that states have and have the right to carve out special areas where CCW is not allowed such as schools and government buildings, although it can’t carve out entire cities because they are densely populated and patrolled by LEO. I expect NY to carve out additional special areas where CCW is not allowed, including subways, buses, airports, trains, train stations; arenas, theaters, and stadiums; and places that serve alcohol. The state may also make CCW illegal and subject to criminal penalties in any privately owned building that prohibits CCW, and give some sort of tax abatement to owners who prohibit CCW.

Yes, we watched DC simply ignore the Heller decision until they were pulled up short. I don't think the state of New York will be given quite that much slack, though. It isn't a company town run and protected by the Democrat House.

I hope nobody is as ready and willing to not even try as you.

From being b..es after January 6, to seemingly HOPE for defeat against our side, I see not NEARLY ENOUGH has changed here.

It’s time to FIGHT, and I mean REALLY FIGHT, against the INSANE left.

Not TALK TALK TALK TALK TALK TALK TALK.

Or we’ll all be talking in solitary like those 50 people from the January 6th protests. Protests and nothing more.

I HATE the left
