Look at the goal of the Ukraine war, from what they say, and not some mere opinion of someone here.

This was never about protecting Ukraine; it is a proxy war.

Wall Street Journal via MSN 4/25/22:

“U.S. Wants to See Russia Weakened, Says Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin After Ukraine Visit”

According to the 2016 report on shale oil and shale gas in Germany, Germany’s “conventional” natural gas deposits (including tight gas) amount to around 100 billion cubic metres. Its technically recoverable shale gas reserves are estimated on average at 800–940 billion cubic metres. The country’s natural gas consumption in 2019 totalled around 92 billion cubic metres.

From my experience in a small coal fired power plant, you need skilled mechanics and operators to get it, and keep it running. It is a high maintenance thing.

Yes, 10 years to muddle them through to their unachievable fantasy of a 100% renewable energy grid. We call all dream, can’t we, is their national energy policy
