Salty Mo Brooks Congratulates Dems After Losing Senate Runoff Post-Trump Snub
TPM via MSN ^ | 6/22/22 | Christina Cabrera

Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL), projected to lose Alabama’s GOP Senate primary runoff against rival Katie Britt after a full slap in the face from ex-President Donald Trump, concluded his rocky campaign with some bitter words in his concession speech on Tuesday night.

“The voters have spoken,” but “they might not have spoken wisely,” Brooks complained to supporters at his election night party, per the Washington Post.

The ultra-MAGA congressman took a shot at Britt, who won a last-minute endorsement from Trump, and her apparent lack of MAGA-ness.

“It’s always appropriate to congratulate the winners, and some of these winners might be a little bit unexpected, but I’d be remiss if I did not congratulate the Alabama Democratic Party for helping to ensure that the Democratic nominee in the Republican primary won,” a sardonic Brooks declared, per the Washington Examiner. “Congratulations to the Democrats. They now have two nominees in the general election.”

How big of a crossover vote was there in the primary?

Who can blame Mo for not being happy. Mo was the most proven conservative candidate. He was one of very few senate candidates even talking about the 2000 mules movie in MSM interviews. So it’s a shame he lost. But Mitch is happy.

The ultra-MAGA congressman

CNN is restricting the company's use of Democrat lingo so as to not appear to be an ally with Democrats. Apparently this "news" organization has not adapted the same restrictions and simply perpetuates the Dem talking points as they clearly are allied with Dems.

He’s not wrong.

One of them will be wearing an R jersey, but will be an Assistant Democrat if elected.

The guy always struck me as a political amateur who was in way over his head once he got out of his own deep-red “safe space.”

Mo brooks snubbed his voters when he snubbed them from the stage at a rally for mo given by trump

His gop rival took off 30 points ahead.

Gop should learn trim won’t and can’t endorse sure losers.

I liked Mo for the most part, but he is an old dog who can’t even wag his own tale. He got into a beef with Trump. Now he is selling Katie Britt and Trump out over jealousy. I’m expecting big things from her. She could be a superstar.

He’s 68. Retire! Go fish and hunt and enjoy your massive pension, Mo. Let Gen Xers drive for a while. Trump too. Enough with the geezers.

Yes, Trump doesn’t care about ideology, he only cares about his 130-10 endorsement win record.....because that is so important during these times in our nation.
