My Filipino in-laws tell me in the Philippines, the entire family just beats up the fag, and most times, they turn straight asap.
It makes you wonder what woke group targeted him to get
him to shame his dad publicly.
As much as kids hate their fathers, they often become them
in their mid to later years.
Being the perfect father isn’t an easy task. You do your
best and let things settle where they will.
I doubt there’s a father out there that doesn’t look back
and wish they’d done a few things differently. Hey,
fathers are human.
I’m talking about fathers that stay in the home, take
responsibility, and try to put food on the table, keep
the kids clothed, and a roof over their head.
So the alive maimed/wounded Veterans are recognized? They paid a bigger price than those out of harm's way like REMFs or a simple swabbie like me who never saw combat. Just my thoughts. Maybe Veterans/Wounded Warrior's Day? (V/WW Day?)
Yes, if they made it a National Holiday like this inane Juneteenth holiday, I would be happy to keep the original name.

I always figured that if I had about a billion dollars I would want to build a state of the art small regional hospital in my area.
Nothing huge or out of proportion to the area but with all the latest diagnostic and emergency equipment.
About 4 critical care units and about 10 or 12 regular hospital rooms for those who can’t go home right away.
A really good prenatal and childcare unit, and a really good Geriatric unit.
Then endow the hospital to take care of physician costs and future maintenance.
Everybody knows that if you offer something for free most people will abuse it, so for those with insurance, whatever their insurance will pay; for those who are completely broke we can come up with something like render a service to the hospital or have an HONEST ARBITRATOR come up with a solution.
Then keep my nose out of it and just enjoy the fact that it would make my little part of the world a better place.
I’ll bet he still loves and wants to keep that money from Musk though, don’t he.
I think anyone who has served should be recognized on a Veterans Day, Federal or not. They all served, and were all in danger of being deployed to service where they could be in harm’s way. Everyone who takes on the job accepts that possibility.
