Probably shares an office with the guy who planted pipe bombs at the DNC and RNC on January 6th.

Yep, over at Perkins Coie next to the FBI office.

“Cocaine Mitch” McConnell gets credit for shepherding through the judicial nominees. You’re correct this doesn’t happen without Trump beating Hillary. His term was an overdue and necessary correction in the body politic. There’s still work to be done.

The begininning of the end of the K-12 “public school” monopoly on “public” (taxpayers) funds for K-12 EDUCATION.

The whole idea has to be reversed from the progressive/Marxists ideal. The whole idea must be made clear that is 100% about public support for K-12 EDUCATION, and not about protecting any K-12 education institution.

I’m disappointed that this ruling does not appear to reach to the constitutionality of Blaine amendments in general.

This ruling also leaves Maine the out of contracting with some specific private schools and eliminating the parents’ choice altogether.

“Roberts needs more time to twist arms to get one of the justices to backtrack on the abortion decision. That will be last as he feverishly works to intimidate justices. BTW, where is that leaker??”

Roberts needs more time for some nutjob to remove a SC Justice.

And Roberts is the leaker.

The blackmailers have gone all in on this one. “Find a way to change a mind, or remove a Justice, before the decision gets released. OR we take you down for your illegal adoptions.”

Strong language from Sotomayor: "What a difference five years makes. In 2017, I feared that the Court was 'lead[ing] us . . . to a place where separation of church and state is a constitutional slogan, not a constitutional commitment.' Today, the Court leads us to a place where separation of church and state becomes a constitutional violation. "

Separation of Church and State

Article 52 [Religion]

(1) Citizens of the USSR are guaranteed freedom of conscience, that is, the right to profess or not to profess any religion, and to conduct religious worship or atheistic propaganda. Incitement of hostility or hatred on religious grounds is prohibited.

(2) In the USSR, the church is separated from the state, and the school from the church.

-Constitution of the USSR

NOT in the Constitution of the USA.

Well, our wise Latina shows her ignorance, as “separation of church and state” is not in the constitution. It is not a constitutional commitment(her words) in the first place.

See my post 54.

“The Constitution may prohibit the government from favoring religion, but it also prohibits the government from disfavoring religion, which is exactly what this Maine law did.”

Spot on, bears repeating.

The "wise Latina" once again proves she is anything but.

IMHO, religion, or theism, is a broad spectrum running from polytheism on one extreme to atheism on the other. Atheism is a religion, the belief in NO deity. There are organized groups of atheists and other hallmarks of what should be considered a religion of sorts. I wish there was judicial notice of this. If there was, then the state purge of anything having a deist attribute would be the State promoting a state religion: atheism.

In this particular case, the decision was correct; a religious test does not belong in the enforcement or implementation of the program. The simple criteria of accreditation is sufficient.

That said, watch them try to monkey with the accreditation requirements to meet their goal.

Agreed, and the 1st amendment regarding religion only limits Congress from establishing a national religion. It does not separate the church from the state.
The original 13 states had official state religions, ie, puritan, Baptist, catholic, Quaker, Lutheran….:
And, church services used to be held in the capital building regularly.
My, how far we have drifted away from the real meaning of the amendments and limitations placed on the federal government.
