UVALDE, Texas — On Monday, KVUE and its news partners at the Austin American-Statesman exclusively obtained surveillance footage from inside Robb Elementary School on the day of the May 24 shooting.
The footage shows that multiple officers were inside the building with rifles and at least one ballistic shield, 19 minutes after the gunman arrived. They didn't enter the classroom the shooter was inside for nearly another hour.
Investigators believe this will prove to be a significant development as it indicates they had more than enough firepower and protection to enter that classroom before they actually did.
Authorities have since developed their most extensive timeline yet since the shooting, in which an 18-year-old armed with an AR-15 walked into the school, killing 19 students and two teachers.
Much of this new information is expected to be presented at a Texas Senate hearing on Tuesday, the first of two consecutive days at the Capitol where members of the public can address lawmakers.
The May 24 response by law enforcement has been under heavy scrutiny after the Texas DPS revealed that officers waited more than 70 minutes to confront the shooter, even as trapped students called 911 for help.
According to the latest timeline, officers ultimately breached the classroom at 12:50 p.m. The shooter entered at 11:33 a.m.

You can call me an optimist, but I have faith in humanity and people seeing the errors of their way, myself included. But as long as power and corruption echos in the hallways of society, We will never know peace, and that is a pessimistic outlook. Probably in my lifetine, we will never see peace however that doesnt mean we cant start today for a better future for our children.

They media went after the policeman who subdued George Floyd - yes “subdued,” because the medical images proved that he did not die from the foot hold. I firmly believe that policement all over the U.S. are deeply afraid they will be prosescuted through witchhunts that regulalry claim that they cannot use any kind of force. I think police are spooked and afraid to take the inittiative to do their duty.
That is not the warrior mentality.
And no the police are not the military, nor should they be.
But your statement indicating that just because people think that maybe the police should dial back on shooting dogs that are running away when they raid houses for buying legal firework they should then not expect the police to do something any normal person would do, such as try to save children from being slaughtered, is asinine.

None of the officer cams are available.
All those things ARE available; they are just not being released...because, according to the city police, making them available might cause "embarrassment" to the various agencies involved. The city's special attorney, hired just for this incident, NOT their usual city attorney, is suing to keep that info private.

As far as I know nobody found out was the round-trip flight was from the Ft. Hood down to Uvalde during the exact time this is all going on ? The plane spent like 10 or 15 minutes on the ground went right back to Ft. Hood. This was via FlightTracker.
