The GOP should beat him to the punch and draft House and Senate bills to eliminate the Federal motor fuels tax permanently.
That will never happen. States and Feds too dependent on that money.
I’d be satisfied if they’d simply demand those taxes be spent
on highways and such.
Californians voted to raise taxes on gasoline sold in the
state, to help fund highways. Newsom diverted at least
part of the new funds to pet green projects.
