Rep Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) said on Sunday that former Vice President Mike Pence was a hero on Jan 6, 2021 for resisting pressure to overturn the 2020 election from former President Trump and his allies.
During an appearance on NBC’s “Meet The Press,” moderator Chuck Todd asked Raskin, a member of the select House panel investigating Jan. 6 if he considers Pence a hero for defying Trump’s orders.

Yes, Pence was a hero to the DNC, but he was no less
a hero to the RNC GOPe. As a matter of fact, he was
was right in line with the top Republicans in the
country, thinking that election was the most honest
and secure ever.
It didn’t seem to enter any of their minds, that there
could possibly have been skullduggery going on,
and that’s what bothers me the most. The rank
and file saw numerous indicators of fraud, but
our leaders saw nothing.
It was like the fix was in, and everyone at the top
on both sides of the isle were in on it and happy
to be.
Pence and the whole lot of them signed off on
the most corrupt election sine the one in 1960,
that saw Nixon cheated out of victory.
I would never back Pence.
I don’t focus on him alone though. It’s just
that he is the titular figure head of that group
of “head in the sand” morons, and when I
get the opportunity, I’m going to take it out
on all of them by taking it out on their front
man.
I doubt Pence will ever hold public office
