The DOJ has a very slim chance of regaining a minimum of respect. (Won’t happen, but I’ll buy the slim chance.) As for that loathsome committee, following their trial, death is the only solution.

It’s Kabuki. The DOJ, the FBI, are the secret police of the DNC, period. All else is a deliberate illusion for public consumption and political cover.
The Hill article states:
“... as the committee is presenting its public case against former President Trump and his inner circle for trying to overturn the 2020 election ...”
I thought it was an investigation into what happened, not what’s said in the quote.
They got nothing. Certainly no evidence that would stand 10 minutes of cross exam by defense counsel.
And now Trump candidates are rolling through the primaries.
You notice Liz Cheney never smiles.

Sounds like the Proud Boys ought to start subpoenaing transcripts and committee members for the defense. I can see the case getting tossed because of the government refusing to give the defense all the info it has.
