Pfizer has announced it will stop enrollment in a clinical trial for Paxlovid—its COVID-19 antiviral pill—for standard-risk COVID-19 patients after the latest results suggested the drug did not reduce symptoms or hospitalizations and deaths to a statistically significant degree.
Paxlovid, which consists of two different antiviral drugs—nirmatrelvir and ritonavir—is currently approved or authorized for conditional or emergency use in more than 65 countries, including the United States, to treat COVID-19 patients at high risk of severe illness, including hospitalization or death.
Pfizer said on June 14 that it will “cease enrollment into the EPIC-SR trial due to low rate of hospitalization or death in the standard-risk population.”

I took it last week. Nasty aftertaste and I couldn’t tell that it did ANYthing for my symptoms. And my doc, my BIL (doc) and my cardiologist all say, “Just think how much worse it would have been”. Oh, puh-LEEEEZE.
The government already stockpiled this worthless cr**.
Soon it will all be flushed into the Florida fisheries.
You needed to keep reading. That comment was related to the standard risk patients which sees mild symptoms in current Covid. That’s who they stopped signing up for study

Bigger question is who in their right mind signed up their 6 month to 5 year olds for the latest jab trials?

Is it just me or does that contradict the first paragraph that says it doesn’t reduce hospitalization or death in high risk people? It sounds misleading.
So folks who,want medical intervention for covid, and not alternative meds now have a choice, a pill that doesn’t work, or remdisiver which destroys organs.
Thnakfully somme states are now allowing ivermectin which I’m betting works much better than either
