Rep. Karen Bass (D-CA) has overtaken billionaire developer Rick Caruso in the primary race for mayor of Los Angeles, thanks to vote-by-mail that has led to an eight-point swing in the results.
Caruso, a Republican-turned-independent-turned-Democrat, is running as a political outsider promising to fix homelessness and crime in the city. Bass, a left-wing activist-turned-Washington insider, is the favorite of the party establishment.

California elections make Nork elections seem credible.
Vote-by-mail should just be called what it is: “Cheat-by-mail.”
Maybe, but there’s a lot of crying “cheating” as the “go-to” explanation for election results, which may or may not be true in a given case. Bass was always going to finish first or second. If they cheated to achieve this result, they wasted their money because the “cheating” didn’t get them anywhere near the 50%+1 needed to win outright

Angelenos deserve everything progressive Bass will hammer them with when they vote her in. I just want the city locked down after she gets in so they cannot escape the consequences of their voting habits.

Bass could be the next mare of LA? As if the city isn’t already in a downward spiral. TWSH here we come.
