But the same environmentalists that don’t like oil don’t like us mining for lithium to put in the batteries of the fancy electric cars.

They think the world is like Star Trek, where things just propel magically.

If you can’t afford $5.00 a gallon gas you sure as hell aren’t going to be able to afford a $60,000 dollar E.V.

You CANNOT fix retarded!

I look forward to Winnebago producing an all electric recreational rig. At least owners will have a place to sleep for hours while it is being charged every 200 miles on their way to the national park. Should only take them 6 months to travel the 2000 miles

No worries. AOC says just get yourself one of these. Make sure it’s a big one, rated for tractors.

1. How much is the cheapest electric car?

2. How many miles before I have to recharge and how commonplace are the charging stations?

3. How long does it take to recharge?

Why doesn’t she tell everyone outright and why don’t the reporters ask her these questions?

There is NO SUCH THING as CLEAN ENERGY!

(Wwll, at least till the fictional holy grail of fusion power comes around)

Something, somewhere is being dug up, processed or carbonized.

There aren’t enough charging points.

The main disadvantages of having an electric car include:

'If you filled up your EV [electric vehicle] and you filled up your gas tank with gasoline, you would save $60 per fill-up,' she said Granholm made similar points in a White House press briefing in May 2021. ‘If you drive an electric car, this would not be affecting you,

Straight up lie.

A "fill up" of gas lasts much longer than the analogue to the EV. EVs "fill up" nightly or daily at a varying cost of around $5 per fill up added to your electricity bill.

So the costs of "fill ups" are comparable and Granholm is lying here.

This nothwithstanding:
the cost of an EV keeps most out of the market
the cost of electricity is comparable to the cost of gas
EVs are far worse for the environment than gas b/c the majority of electricity comes from coal, the mining done to gather the minerals for the battery is horrific, the disposal of deadly poison batteries is impossible - they're just piling up.

Please restore sanity to our world and our once prosperous nation! MAGA
