I was goofing a bit, too, but it didn’t work as well as yours did. :-) Don’t get rid of those pins and voodoo dolls! We all need to keep some handy for those freaks. LOL
A lot of people really don’t see the world around them and they’re missing out on so much. When I was very young, Dad turned me on to the wonders and beauty of space and Mom turned me on to the wonders and beauty of all that’s around us here on earth. Stepping outside to take it in is a great way to keep one’s sanity. It’s reeeeeeeally needed these days.
Maybe TigerEagle’s parents instilled that love of nature in her too.
I’d enjoy seeing some of your captured moments. Posting images isn’t hard. The first step is finding an image hosting site to stash them in.
You’re in the crypt by now and looking at the clock, it’s time to get the cats dealt with so I can head off to the bat cave. It won’t be all that long before the sun comes up. :-)
I said what I said and meant it. If ripping their hearts out would have restored those pictures, I’d have done so...but they were gone.
One time I took a shot on the west coast of FL on a beach in the town of Naples. I don’t remember the time of year. The sun was setting in the west, the shot was to the north west so there was sufficient light to illuminate the subject rather than make it a silhouette. Must have been winter with a far southern sun. Anyway, there were 20 or so, wooden piles sticking out of the water from what had been an old pier. On each and every pile was a seagull facing to the right except for one in the middle that was facing to the left. I shot most of a whole roll of Kodachrome on it at different settings until the scene broke up. I developed it myself. I ruined the whole roll. Bleached it out. Came out just enough to see that they would have been great. That’s the very reason I had the birth pictures professionally done by hand. Digital is MUCH better in that respect. Like you said, you took several shots of the moon, SAW THEM IMMEDIATELY, and stayed at it until you got what you wanted.
Film can’t do that! With film, ya don’t know what you’ve got ‘til you’ve got it in hand.
NOW!!! I’m out!
Well, then I’d definitely stay in!
And now it’s waaaaaaaaaaaay past my bedtime, so I’m gonna go. See ya tomorrow!
I can picture, in my mind’s eye, what a cool scene that must have been in FL and it’s a shame it was ruined. What rotten luck!
Though not the same quality as film, digital has some great advantages.
NOW you’re in your crypt - LOL - and I’m heading to the bat cave. The sky’s getting light already.
You stayed up REAL late tonight! You’re gonna turn into a bonafide vampire like me before all’s said and done. LOL
Catch ya tomorrow ..... er, later this evening.
I got 11 of 12. Missed on Henry Blake. Bones was a toughie so I guessed.
Hi Luvie, well sorry for your water problem, at least you can bring in water in a large jug - can’t get five gallons of internet to bring home. LOL
Good job! Thanks for taking the quiz!
That is sooo true. LOL! Hope you’re back on-line now...or very soon.
Hi Luv.
Sez here 2 out of 3 ain’t bad or in this case 8 out of 12.
Ain’t bad at all! :) Good to see you!
