Gas prices too high? It’s all part of Biden’s plan to eliminate fossil fuels
NY Post ^ | June 13, 2022 | Betsy McCaughey

If you think gas prices are high now, just wait. They’re going much higher, thanks to President Biden’s “irreversible” plan to eliminate fossil fuels. Truth is, your pain at the pump is being planned and executed by the White House.

Over the weekend, buyers paid $5 a gallon or roughly $100 bucks to fill the tank.

Gas prices have doubled since Biden took office. J.P. Morgan analysts predict $6 a gallon by August. And experts warn this crisis will continue even after Biden’s term ends because he’s dismantling fossil fuel production.

When Biden was running for president, he promised to shut down oil producers: “No ability for the oil industry to continue to drill, period.” He pledged to put the country on “an irreversible” path toward “doing away with” fossil fuels.

On Day One as president, Biden shut down the Keystone pipeline, sending a message of no new pipelines anywhere, period.

In the months that followed, he stopped all sales of leases to drill on federal lands or offshore, meaning zero new leases allowing oil to be brought out of the ground.

And in September, House Democrats introduced legislation to stop banks from lending money or investing capital for new or expanded fossil fuel production. That legislation hasn’t passed, but it sent a clear message. The oil industry is being shut down.

A plan to eliminate fossil fuel sounds like a plan to abolish sand: absolutely bonkers; meshuga; bananas; insane; Biden.

If in this hour of crisis and clarity Americans cannot collectively resolve to never allow this crowd anywhere near the levers of power, this generation may well stand witnesses to the conclusion of the Grand Experiment.

That’s why China is forcing solar energy and battery systems. It’s cheaper in going to war with us by watching us destroy ourselves. They won’t need to fire one missile. We are paying them to kill us.

It's not like the rest of the world is going to follow along and adopt the Green New Deal idiocy. Some of the squishy "western" socialist countries will be eager to join in, but the rest of the world will still run on petroleum.

Think all those countless motorized rickshaw Tuk-Tuks across Asia are going to be cast aside for the latest battery technology? Or the over 100 MILLION Honda Super Cubs that have been sold in every corner of the globe? Not going to happen. For starters, postal and parcel deliveries in much of the world would *stop*.

…And the dirty little secret is: they’ll simply replace one KINd of “fossil fuel” with others. Lithium, cobalt, etc….

This is utter stupidity at best and demented evil at worst.

Exactly, and the right need to make this crystsl, clear in thr next elections, and say “if you want crippling gas prices, and food prices and heating oil prices etc, then by all means keep voting democrat, because everytime a Democrat runs things, this is exactly what happens. If you want lower prices on food, meat, snacks etc, fuel, oil, gasoline, then all you need to do is look back at every republican term in office to see that we have the answers, and we will not force everyone to pay through the nose for basic human needs, nor overwhelm the electric grid by forcing everyone onto electric like the left have done”

Almost everything we do depends on oil at one or more levels.

It’s crazy. There was no gradual change. The intentions are clear. It will take years to undo some of these things. How bad is it going to be in another year. All while trying to disarm us.

The smoking gun doesn't get any better than these set of facts. I wonder if the GOP has figured out their marketing yet, sheesh, talk about a silver platter.

Hi everyone.

There is no such thing as “fossil fuel.”

Crude oil is abiotic. Same as natural gas.

This has been a PSA.

Globalism - Build Back Better is a UN/WEF slogan. The UN/WEF want people only living in the cities. Where I live, it's 40-50 miles round trip to town. Some people commute that far and many have to drive a 4x4 truck due to the rough gravel roads. Pretty soon, a trip to and from town/work will cost $20 - $30. Five days a week will be $100 - $150 per week. That's a big chunk of money for someone who brings home $3-400/wk.

Biden promised to “end” fossil fuels during his campaign. we just weren’t suppose to notice. Every misery is planned and executed by Biden and his merry band of marxists.

I am a Doordash driver. I have a 100+ year old mom at home which means I can’t punch a clock or be on someone’s schedule. DD is the best option for me, even though I can only do it early mornings, so I can hurry home. Up ‘til recently, it was an ideal solution.

What Biden is doing is just plain stupid. We cannot phase out fossil fuels instantly like Biden is trying to do. One cannot say that everything will suddenly be electric. This country phased out nuclear power generation. So where are we going to suddently get all this electric power generation and how will it affect power transmission? Biden is so stupid, he has not considered these things. Let’s hope when the Republicans take over, they have considered some of these things. The democats have no clue!

He is not stupid... this was the democrat_commie plan of record.

He is obamas sock puppet. All is proceeding according to the despicable plan they told us they were looking to implement. Before he was selected and installed.

This is not Bidens plan. This is the plan of his behind the scenes leftist puppeteers. Biden’s mind is too far gone dementia-wise to have drawn up any plans or ideas, much less carry them out. I doubt he even knows what day is today.
