The Supreme Court Monday again prolonged the wait for its opinion which is expected to overturn the federal right to an abortion.
Last month, Politico published a leaked draft opinion which indicated the Supreme Court is set to overturn Roe v. Wade, the 1973 case that established a federal right to an abortion.
The justices released a handful of decisions Monday, including two immigration-related opinions, but not in the case Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization. A ruling is expected to come by either late June or early July. The decisions issued Monday included: ZF Automotive U. S., Inc. v. Luxshare, Ltd., Denezpi v. United States, Kemp v. United States, a case related to drug and gun crimes, and immigration-related cases Johnson v. Arteaga-Martinez and Garland v. Gonzalez.
The Dobbs case stems from a dispute over a Mississippi law which bans abortion after 15 weeks. Argued in December, the case is seen as the biggest test yet for how the new 6-3 Republican-appointed majority on the court â capped with the confirmation of Justice Amy Coney Barrett in 2020 â will handle major controversial issues.
As the Supreme Court continues to finalize its ruling in Dobbs and several other cases before its summer recess, the investigation into who leaked the draft opinion by court officials is ongoing.

Cowards!
They like the drama.
John Roberts has pressured the other justices to reconsider. He is such a coward.
I second that.
If the decision is changed... we will now know intimidation and threasts WORK.
They almost can’t change it for that reason alone.
All branches of government are now corrupt.
Here’s a hot take - they’re taking time tryna make it unanimous ... to suppress the expected problems... lol
They insist on keeping to what they had already planned.
It is a reasonable response.
The headline makes it sound as if they decided to delay the opinion, rather than simply continue with tradition.
Some 30 years back Bob Casey here in Pennsylvania “The Real Bob Casey” not to be confused with his son the Chuck Schumer acolyte signed off on the “Abortion Control Act”
This pending Supreme Court decision overturns not only Roe v. Wade but the Planned Parenthood v. Casey decision that came down right before the Fourth Of July.
The date was Monday June 29th, 1992.
A reminder to expect this decision around the same time this year perhaps Thursday June 30th.
Lol
Terrorism works, and the Democrats are masters of it.
Probably waiting for all Justices to plan on a vacation after the ruling goes public.
Comey-Barrett has young child and school might be wrapping up.
I think after the release the Conservative Justices at least will vanish for awhile.
Which also means if the ruling wasn’t going to change Roe……it would have been released to throw cold water on protest.
So it should be a positive ruling for Pro-Life.
High visibility decisions like this one are almost always handed down on the last day or so of the session. There is nothing surprising in the timing of this.
Roberts is the gift from W that keeps on giving.
One of the Justices leaked it because otherwise the perpetrator would have been named already. Could have been Sotomayor..If found out to be her, then hopefully protestors could park outside of her residence for the rest of her life and bang a drum ‘slowly’.
They should have released it last Thursday just to nuke Liz Cheney
New York Governor Hochul the Fool just signed the legislation for Murder State Number One yesterday:

It maybe that it was never to be over turned in the first place. Could be a bs leak or just a judges opinion. Or a unfinished one. And does Roberts have the final say. Maybe the others didn’t agree with the opinion and as I said it was never going to be overturned and have the votes to over turn. Was just a play by the dems. Look over there and not over here.
