Three Pennsylvania parents filed a federal lawsuit last week alleging that their children's first-grade teacher violated district policy, state law and the Constitution by teaching children about gender dysphoria and transgender transitioning.
The suit, filed by mothers Carmilla Tatel, Stacy Dunn and Gretchen Melton against the Mount Lebanon School District, seeks a court order to stop the gender-related instruction at Jefferson Elementary School in Pittsburgh, or else provide parents the option to opt their children out of it.
It also seeks a jury trial in federal court to decide compensating and punitive financial damages.
In addition to the district, the suit names the district's superintendent and school board, as well as first-grade teacher Megan Williams. It also names other school officials and an elementary school principal.
The mothers allege Williams did not respect their parental rights with her "direct classroom instruction" on gender dysphoria and use of books on the subject.
The lawsuit points out the "unique perspectives and views" that Williams might have as the mother of a transgender child who is the same age as her students, but noted that such a fact "does not give her the right to impose those views on a captive audience of six- and seven-year-old children."
"Williams also began the process of interjecting her own personal life and views into the classroom, explaining that her child had worn an ‘Elsa dress’ for Halloween," the complaint also said, alleging that Williams "explained to her students that sometimes ‘parents are wrong’ and parents and doctors ‘make mistakes’ when they bring a child home from the hospital."

How is a elementary school teacher qualified to offer any opinion on psychology. They barely r qualified 8n reading ritn and rithmetic. They should be sued for practicing medicine without a license.
Every one of these groomers needs to be sued into oblivion. There reputations need to be stained with this and they certainly should never been involved in education again.

Is she one of these moms of transgender children who “enable” their child who has gender confusion????
I’ve heard that sort of language before, about how doctors and parents “assign” a gender at birth, but sometimes they assign the wrong gender and all of that.
They way they talk, you would swear that gender is “assigned” by some arbitrary process, and that there are no actual criteria by which a baby is said to be one sex or the other.

Parents and doctors make mistakes, but this idiot knows because her five year old is trans. What a world.
She should have added emotional distress, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, sexual harassment, and creating a hostile (work)place. Add anything and everything that can be added. Sue the school and the teacher and principal individually.

Exactly, and that was the point of legalizing gay marriage, so they could groom school children as it is totally “normal”.
Sue. They should pay for the cost of homeschooling. Books, materials or private tutor, or job replacement compensation to the mothers to stay home to teach instead of having to work.

This great show is probably banned these days because of its promotion of the gun culture, its humorous look at marital bliss, its “exploitation” of indigenous peoples, insensitivity towards class and cultural differences, et cetera. All that makes it one of my favorites.
Common sense is not very common anymore,
