Somebody has to do the math.
The math has to be about the monthly percentage that gas prices were going up during the first 13 months of Biden’s administration. Whatever that percentage is, needs to be used to calculate the other 4 months that gas prices would have gone up, if Putin had not invaded Ukraine.
Let’s say that for each month (before the invasion of Ukraine), gas prices had gone up 8% per month. If gas prices pre-Biden were $2.29 per gallon, then, gas prices would have been around $2.47 after Biden’s first month, and would had gone up another 18 cents for each month since Jan 2021. So, for after Biden’s first 13 months, the price of gas would be $4.63. That 4.63 would not include “Putin’s gas tax” and would reflect Biden’s inflation-damage on fuel. Putin’s gas tax would have been a FLAT 37 cents, if we look at gas prices now being around $5.00 per gallon.
So, Biden is hoping that the majority of Americans are imbeciles and won’t be able to notice his big lies about the Putin gas tax.
