CNN is now down to just over 500,000 average prime time viewers, while Fox News continues to dominate, new ratings figures released Wednesday show.
The liberal network, which presents itself as “facts first,” has routinely struggled with viewership. In April, the network’s much-hyped streaming service CNN+ was shuttered mere weeks after its start, due to its failure to bring in new viewers.
Among the overall domination of Fox News is host Greg Gutfeld.
As reported in December, “Gutfeld!” — a rebrand of the “The Greg Gutfeld Show” — is about a year old, and still building. The success of the show has shocked elites in the media, begrudgingly earning Gutfeld “the king of late night” title. Fox’s “Gutfeld!” routinely beats out late night shows hosted by left-leaning Jimmy Kimmel on ABC and Jimmy Fallon on NBC, and stomped Stephen Colbert’s ratings for the first time in August.

CNN’s biggest mistake was to use it’s base name, “CNN” in the new venture, CNN+.
When the name denotes ‘loser’, CNN+ might as well have been named “LOSER+”.
CNN is crap, so, the new network could easily have been named “CRAP+”, and had the same result as CNN+.
It’s the same with democrats, where Biden’s name might as well be Joe Krap, and had Krap go campaigning for democrats in this campaign season.
Let’s see what would happen to Fox’s dominance if CNN or MSNBC wakes up, from a business sense, and says what they are doing is not working - we are going conservative!
To me, Fox is stale and sings to the choir but not expands the choir.
There are always OAN, Right Side, The First, and Real America’s Voice, if Fox has become too cloying. None of them are very big yet, but they are growing. You kind of have to hunt for them, and possibly make a separate subscription apart from the major apps.
Then there are a number of podcasts, among them Trish Regan and Liz Wheeler, as well as Graham Ledger, all available through Rumble.
Stopped watching FOX when they made the early AZ call on the night of the Steal.

You can put a monkey in a suit, but he is a monkey still. CNN has become a wing of the Democrat Progressive cult. If the Dems have their way—CNN will be the only news source on cable. They do not need to make money—Like PBS they will be taxpayer funded in the future.

You’ve just defined Hannity for me. I consider him utterly repulsive, ever since the creepy way he attacked Kathy Barnette. For a long time, Hannity has been way overexposed, 3 hours on radio and 1 hour on primetime tv. He just says the same thing, over and over again. A total elitist lightweight but he thinks he is an intellectual (because he’s published books, don’t you know).
Hannity has got to be the most boring, un-original tv-personality out there. Because of Hannity, I blocked FoxNews from my cable lineup. Yes, I know my cable bill still pays his enormous, unworthy salary, but at least he will never get any ratings from our household. /spit
Some like vanilla, some like chocolate. But I agree with you: I don’t like Gutfield that world-weary wise guy persona doesn’t work for me at all. That said, I wish him well, I hope he crushes the networks, and for those that like him I sincerely say: enjoy
