10,000 Reasons Pelosi Is to Blame for Security Failures on Jan. 6
Townhall ^ | Jun 09, 2022 2:42 PM | Congressman Jody Hice

There are 10,000 reasons why Nancy Pelosi is singularly negligent in the U.S. Capitol’s comprehensive security failures on January 6th. Instead of addressing her willful negligence, she is pointing her finger at the person whose help she ignored, President Donald Trump.

The predictable hallmark of a left-wing coverup is to somehow find a way to scapegoat the 45th president of the United States, Donald Trump, for their own abysmal missteps and errors. The Democrats’ twisted creativity in pursuing this anomaly is truly something to behold.

The mainstream media fallout from January 6th was a godsend to Democrats who found themselves on the heels of the disproven Russia Hoax, a spectacularly underwhelming performance by Robert Mueller, two failed impeachments, and no significant policy achievements during their tenure in the majority.

At that point, their win record was abysmal at best. As America suffers from Democrats and their failures, the Left pounced on January 6th in a desperate attempt to distract the country from their own incompetence.

But the facts weren’t out about that day. Many remain undiscovered. And today, to the annoyance of hysterical Democrats hellbent on advancing their theatrical narrative about January 6th, Republicans are raising one looming question that remains overtly (and purposefully) ignored by the Democrats’ Partisan Witch-hunt Committee:

Why did Nancy Pelosi fail to properly protect the Capitol while President Trump, on January 4th, requested 10,000 National Guard Troops be available to provide security to Americans and the United States Capitol on January 6th?

Why? Pelosi coordinated with the FBI and Capitol Police. She did her part. She continues to do her part. She picked the sham Jan. 6th committee so her part wouldn't be exposed.

Of course she deemed her office is off limits to any part of the investigation! This woman is the true face of what evil is!

Why?

Because her own people would have been caught.

Failures?

All part of the plan.

State actors pushed the protest and opened the doors. Then claimed it was a violent overthrow - when 99% of the violence was from state actors shooting unarmed protestors.

“Mostly peaceful protest” is okay for Dems. Remember when Schumer’s own daughter was arrested protesting Kav’s confirmation hearing? All charges were dropped and it was praised as free speech.

Missteps and errors? Please, it was a planned op.

It's my understand that the DoD issued, twice,an offer of National Guard troops a couple of days before the 6th and they were turned down...or ignored. If this is even close to being true then the blame goes to the person(s) who turned them down or the person(s) who ignored them.

Trump’s request was refused 6 times and she was part of the act.

If you were to leave your car with the windows down and the keys in the ignition, would the police even take a report for a stolen vehicle? If you were trying to get an advantage from the theft by filing a claim with your insurance company, would they not investigate it? My point being, even if you find fault in those that entered the Capitol you should be questioning why the requests for additional security were denied and the doors were opened.

At least 4 of the police there committed suicide. Does anyone else think that’s strange. Did they know something.

Don't forget McCarthy's part in making sure the Jan. 6th committee's only Republican was Cheney. I don't care what Trump says about him: McCarthy must go.

I thought McCarthy proposed Jordan and Banks and Pelosi denied those choices. She picked Cheney and Adam K. Do you have info otherwise?

All of what you say is correct. Pelosi, not McCarthy, picked Cheney and Adam K. She also denied Jordan and Banks. However, McCarthy originally put forward 5 names and when Pelosi rejected Jordan and Banks he also pulled the remaining 3 names (that he himself chose). Pelosi did not force him to do that. So we could've had some real Republicans on that committee but for one man's fit of pique.
