Ministry of Foreign Affairs summons Russian ambassador
Republic of Estonia Ministry of Foreign Affairs ^ | 6/10/2022

Today 10 June, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned Vladimir Lipaev, Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Estonia, to condemn recent statements by President Putin.

Undersecretary Rein Tammsaar who met with the ambassador expressed regret over the statement by President Putin, including his comments on the Estonian city of Narva. At a time when Russia is implementing its revanchist policy informed by the Russkyi Mir ideology by trying to destroy the statehood and people of Ukraine, it is also completely unacceptable.

Considering Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, the bill submitted to the Russian State Duma this week proposing to annul the regulation that recognised the independence of Lithuania and threats of ‘denazification’ and ‘demilitarisation’ against other countries are dangerous and irresponsible. Instead of striving towards respect for international law and basing its actions on the principle of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of states, Russia has attempted to use propaganda in addition to the army to implement its imperialist ambitions, including by falsifying history. This approach is doomed to failure and can eventually threaten Russia itself.

Estonia is tirelessly reiterating that Russia has gravely violated international law by invading Ukraine and should immediately comply with the 16 March decision of the International Court. We once again call on Russia to immediately withdraw its forces from Ukraine, end hostilities and respect Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognised borders.

Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania will be taken if allowed, but the Suwalki Gap between Lithuania and heavily nuclearized Kaliningrad are strategically more critical to the Kremlin led CIS.

However, each of these, and UA, were merely necessary to control EU energy and food supply, which was necessary for the Russian/Chinese axis to be able to determine EU foreign and domestic policy, and subsequent finance and military policy.

This is Putins window.

As such, I personally expect this conflict to migrate toward any jurisdiction which could offer the EU way to work around Moscow.

Watch the ebb and flow of conflict, and alliances focus more and more on the Eastern Mediterranean.

Tiny Israel may already be the biggest target, as it can provide the pathway for SA/UAE energy flow, but can now provide the EU with more power than it can use for a long time.

Additionally, regardless of the US, Iran will act to nuke Israel if given the opportunity. Israel will act, and likely destroy Russian engineered nuke installations (from 1997 to present) across Iran.

Israel also came down against Putin in UA.

From these unfolding events, Israel will have 3 big strikes from Moscow.

Watch for Moscow to aft much more decisively, both geopolitically and militarily in the Eastern Med -

HOWEVER, PUTIN IS MORE LIKE ‘IVAN THE TERRIBLE’

Bio:
In the 1560s, Russia was devastated by a combination of drought, famine, unsuccessful wars against the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth, Tatar invasions, and the sea-trading blockade carried out by the Swedes, the Poles, and the Hanseatic League.

Ivan the Terrible was appointed grand prince after his father’s death, when he was three years old. In 1547, the “Chosen Council”, being a group of reformers, declared him tsar of All Rus’ at the age of 16. Ivan’s reign was characterised at an immense cost to its people and its broader, long-term economy.

After Ivan the Terrible consolidated his power, Ivan got rid of his advisers from the “Chosen Council” and triggered the Livonian War, which ravaged Russia but gave him greater autocratic control over Russia’s nobility. Ivan the Terrible violently purged with the Oprichnina [period between 1565 and 1572] when creating domestic policy of: secret police, mass repressions, public executions, and confiscation of land from Russian aristocrats. His later years were marked by the Massacre of Novgorod and the burning of Moscow by Tatars.

Ivan the Terrible was described as intelligent but given to: paranoia, rage, and episodic outbreaks of mental instability that increased with his age. In one fit of anger, he murdered his eldest son and heir, Ivan Ivanovich, and caused the miscarriage of the son’s unborn child. Ivan the Terrible the sadistic and brutal deeds included drowning and roasting people alive or torturing victims with boiling or freezing water.

In 1558, Ivan started the LIVONIAN WAR by attempting to gain access to the Baltic Sea and its major trade routes. The war ultimately proved unsuccessful and stretched on for 24 YEARS with Sweden, Lithuania, the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth and the Teutonic Knights of Livonia. This prolonged war had nearly destroyed the economy, and the Oprichnina had thoroughly disrupting the government. The ‘Union of Lublin’ actually united Lithuania and Poland, and was supported by the Ottoman Empire squeezing Ivan the Terrible north and south.

After Ivan the Terrible rejected peace proposals from his enemies, Ivan had found himself in a difficult position by 1579. All the displaced refugees that fled the war actually compounded the effects of the simultaneous drought and increased epidemics causing greater loss of life.

PUTIN IS LIKE IVAN THE TERRIBLE !

There’s a HUGE difference between Ukraine and Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania. Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania are full NATO members. Article 5 says an attack on one is an attack on all.

Russia really wants to start WWIII?

They’d lose.

Of course, they could go nuclear, but then everyone will lose, but Russia would also lose in that scenario, too.

There’s no way Russia wins over NATO. Especially given their many, many military problems from corruption, maintenance and lack of training. They’re stalemated and can’t even fully defeat the Ukrainians.

Now that the control the Donbass and Sea of Azov areas, they should declare victory and stop all offensive operations.

Regroup, fix the big problems and maybe then they can start threatening everyone.

The Baltic states joined NATO in 2004 and Russia's ability to attack Israel is limited.

You put too much faith into NATO which has expended a great deal of its arsenals in aid to Ukraine without affecting war in any meaningful way. Ukraine lost more armor than half of NATO possesses on a good day.

You maybe right. NATO has given up a lot—not just antitank weaponry—but ammunition and other arms.

But consider how much Russia has lost: Tanks, armored personnel carriers, trucks, ammunition and above all—that which matters most—men and leaders of men.

I stand neutral in this conflict, but I really do think Russia would be better off ending offensive operations and defending what they already took: Donbas and the Sea of Azov approaches to Crimea.

Let the Ukrainians spill their blood trying to attack fortifications along those lines.

I honestly believe the Ukrainians are best served acknowledging those territories as lost. Russia is least served trying to take more.

Do you believe in oryx propaganda on Russian losses? 80% of their entries can’t be reliably attributed to any side, many are blatantly Ukrainian.
The real estimates for the Ukrainian losses are between 110,000 KIA and MIA and 200,000.
The highest barely realistic estimates of Russian losses are 6,000 KIA, or them 70% Ukrainian rebels.
There were talks that Russia had run out of missiles on the third day of the conflict. It is still using them in increasing numbers, expending more over 3 months than NATO expended over its entire history.

God bless little Estonia!! Bravely standing up to the butchers of Moscow.

Those little Baltic countries know the price of Moscow’s “liberation” and will never accept it again.

All of them are braver and have more character than China Joe and Kamala Hoe combined X100.
