Republican House candidate Carl Paladino praised Nazi leader Adolf Hitler’s ability to rouse “the crowds” and declared Hitler “the kind of leader we need today” in a February 2021 interview on the radio station WBEN in Buffalo, New York.
Paladino, a businessman and leading GOP figure in New York state who was the party’s gubernatorial nominee in 2010, is running for the Republican nomination to replace the retiring Rep. Chris Jacobs (R-N.Y.).

I think this is what you call, an unforced error.

“You think we would have learned by now.”
I’d think you’d learn by now the media lies.

Out of context? What context would we need a leader like Hitler be a good thing?
If Hitler was such a bad leader, how did he manage to take over an entire country? He didn't have a national political party running fraudulent elections for him all over Germany...

Get lost. My grandfather was a brown shirt in Stuttgart and was the, what would be a ‘chief of staff’ for the mayor. I have been raised with first hand knowledge of what happened. I have had clients who were forced out of the area, probably caused by my relatives. Hitler wasn’t elected, he was appointed to try to calm his violent followers. He was not just a bad leader, he was an evil leader.

That is easy........ Give me a copy, a video of him saying this without cuts and splices and I will believe a modern day politician would say this.

A small part of his rise to power, a huge majority of the German population still supported him. Denying his charisma makes it very difficult to learn from history and how he managed to take over.
Bad vs good and bad vs evil are two very different things. You can have an evil leader who is good at leading, and you can have a good leader who is incompetent. One does not negate the other.

My first thought is he really didn’t say this. However, why did he bring up Hitler?
