“If Hitler was such a bad leader, how did he manage to take over an entire country? He didn’t have a national political party running fraudulent elections for him all over Germany...”

Get lost. My grandfather was a brown shirt in Stuttgart and was the, what would be a ‘chief of staff’ for the mayor. I have been raised with first hand knowledge of what happened. I have had clients who were forced out of the area, probably caused by my relatives. Hitler wasn’t elected, he was appointed to try to calm his violent followers. He was not just a bad leader, he was an evil leader.

A small part of his rise to power, a huge majority of the German population still supported him. Denying his charisma makes it very difficult to learn from history and how he managed to take over.

Bad vs good and bad vs evil are two very different things. You can have an evil leader who is good at leading, and you can have a good leader who is incompetent. One does not negate the other.
