In deep blue NM he doesn’t stand a chance in November. And that’s before any election fraud.

I’m giving him a chance to win. Hispanics are the majority in NM and they are going to the right, also energy is a big industry, so NM might be in for a flip...

So far, GOP turnout in the New Mexico primary has been grim - Ronchetti had better figure out how to get people to the Polls in November

Good guy. Weatherman. Tough on crime platform, seems sincere. Made some anti-Trump remarks some years ago that the libs continually try to use to scuttle his political ambitions. Lujan-Grisholm is not a popular Governor, so maybe Ronchetti can pull it off.

[SANTA FE, N.M. – For months, Mark Ronchetti has been selling himself to Republican primary voters as the candidate who can beat Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham. A new KOB/SurveyUSA poll shows he’s close to the Democratic governor in a theoretical head-to-head matchup.

Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham holds a narrow 47-43% lead in the poll, which asked likely November voters who they’d vote for if the only two candidates on the ballot were the governor and Mark Ronchetti. The rest of the voters surveyed were undecided.

“It’s obviously very positive news for him. It shows that the governor has some work to do going into the summer and the fall to win the election,” said Tim Krebs, a political science professor at the University of New Mexico. ]

Michelle Lujan Grisham is the devil incarnate I am surprised she doesn’t have weekly Christians Vs lions at University Stadium and crosses lining both interstates as they pass through Albuquerque

I see you are in Alaska. You must be very familiar with NM politics to make such a statement or you simply made a knee jerk comment.

I winter in Arizona and I have friends who live in NM. I understand the politics there better than you realize.

He lost by just six points in the Senate race in 2020. He actually has a good chance to win.

RINO. And this means a win for the radical lefty Michelle Lujan Grisham. She will eat his lunch.

I lived in New Mexico from 2010 until 2018, and Ronchetti was my favorite weatherman of all time. Very personable. But he will lose. The radical leftie Secretary of State there has already told county clerks they will use drop boxes and these are not to be removed.

Ronchetti also has a campaign chairman that was sued by a friend of mine (settled out of court) for slander. He is viscous and just slandered his primary opponent. I lost all respect for him. Between the ballot harvesting and the fact Ronchetti has virtually no experience governing, running any business, etc., and his campaign chairman’s reputation, he is toast.
