Continued Prayers up!
Many hospitals have Patient Advocates that run interference on care issues. See if this hospital has one.
Thanks for the update. I’m not in tight with God, but I offer my deepest sympathy to Jim and family. This site has been a mainstay over the years for conservatism.
Praying for my HERO JIM!!
Best regards and hopeful thoughts for Jim.
Very sorry to hear he is having troubles.
Following the thread, this makes me wonder if they know who Jim is and are keeping him away from his followers. Imagine if Jack Dorsey were hospitalized and the floor staff kept his status away from his family and followers?
Anyway, Jim Robinson lives in Fresno, which is partially represented by Kevin McCarthy. Any chance getting McCarthy involved to reach out to the hospital to ensure that Jim's rights are being protected?

Praying for healing for Jim. Thank you for letting us know.
Keep praying FReepers!
Dear Lord, please protect Your servant Jim, may he have the help he needs, and the comfort of his family by his side.
Praying for a speedy recovery, Jim. God bless you.
Prayer up.
My experience with them at our hospital through the years was USELESS. Glorified social workers.
Amen.
Continuing prayers for Jim. Please, Lord, take note of Jim’s hospital situation, and heal all that needs to be healed. Give his nurses superior compassion. Give his doctors wisdom and knowledge.
Ease all Jim’s pain and stress and worry. Give him the peace that surpasses all understanding.
Amen.
I think the threat of legal action is the most powerful/sensible. I’ve had several friends over last couple of years who resorted to this during the Covid insanity to get access to elderly parents or even get parents removed from the hospital to another facility.
Prayers.
“Many hospitals have Patient Advocates that run interference on care issues.”
Great idea. When our mom was in a hospital in Rochester, NY, recently the Family-Patient Relations people were wonderful!! Since family couldn’t visit, they truly were advocates.
Yep. We got lucky as my sister had a disabled friend who called to check on our mom during that time. She was VERY familiar with the ADA and told us what to do. She was an absolute Godsend. We would have never known.
I’m praying Jim will get the care, love, and support he deserves.
BOOOM! Request fulfilled and ongoing
I talked to an attorney .... didn’t get what I wanted but this is what I was told.
Since Jim does not have a form on file stating who his information can be shared with, they will not give any info to anyone.
Chris needs to go back to hospital and ask to speak to the floor nurse first, If the nurse couldn’t help him, then ask to speak to a social worker. If information is not shared, then contact Adult Protective Services and ask for a Welfare Check.
Chris said he saw him for a few minutes on Saturday before they moved him to another floor. They had him pretty doped up at that time.
