Ukraine war no excuse to prolong reliance on fossil fuels, US climate envoy John Kerry says

Ukrainian climate scientist Svitlana Krakovska, who is on the UN’s intergovernmental panel on climate change, said continuing dependence on Russian fossil fuels was fuelling the war in Ukraine.

"The cause of this war, the enabler of this war... is oil and gas," she told the BBC today.

So here, from their own mouths, is the real reason for Biden's war in the Ukraine. It's all about the Green Agenda. It's a shame our Neocon, low IQ'ers are choosing to ignore this.

Lurch John Kerry, who served in Vietnam, (typed in my best Rush voice) is basically saying that Europeans (and Americans for that matter) haven’t experienced enough green energy hopeism pain. We have to keep prices high for Big Energy while pretending it’s for princess Greta.

Too bad there isn’t a way to create energy by assembling a critical mass of putzes together in a shielded enclosure. Kerry could be the core.

The Neocons are the flip side of Climate Change Crowd.

In Davos George Soros was joined by Eric Holcomb the Indiana GOP Governor who was Mike Pence’s Lt. Gov., Larry Hogan RINO Governor of Maryland, Senator Deb Fisher Republican from Nebraska.

They are all on the same team and it isn’t ours.

VERY, VERY, true. Reagan and even Carter PUNISHED the Soviet Union by driving down their value of their main hard currency export, which was oil. Notice how even the Neocons don’t even consider doing that, the Europeans the same. Instead we watch Russia GET RICH on energy exports while people in Europe, by the millions, will be facing the possibility of freezing to death this winter and people in the US will go broke trying to prevent the same outcome.

That’s what the Ukraine supporters are supporting, and like you say, they simply DO NOT CARE - all they do is hate Putin.

Kerry is a puppet and an idiot.
I think the green crap is just a side benefit to the neocon warmongers. Maintaining the Ukraine as a slush fund is probably higher on the priority list in keeping with the NWO ,great reset and such..........

I got the perfect question for the week — for liberals only ...

Who do you hate more ?

1) Trump

2) Putin

It's amazing to watch the damage that MSM can do to some people. I've yet to get an answer to a basis question; how does America's intervention in Ukraine help the American middle class? They all move past the question without answering.

--- "Ukraine war no excuse to prolong reliance on fossil fuels, US climate envoy John Kerry says"

There are hydrocarbons. There are geologic deposits of hydrocarbons. There is an ongoing geologic creation of more hydrocarbons. Hydro - water and carbon - mineral element.

There have been precious few "fossil fuels." Fossils are forms of life encased in rock and similar strata. Fossils are hardened echoes of a distant past. Fossils are not and did not make make trillions of gallons of hydrocarbons.

There is far more deposits of hydrocarbons than those rare earth elements being used to make electric batteries for transport. There is a greater amount of petroleum than enriched isotopes for energy production, and yet both are far more easily accessed than the "green" goals and targets.

The fossil here is the US climate envoy.

Probably best not to care about this too very much. The physics of EVs preclude many things and physics are more powerful than political preference.

You must have diesel. Diesel fuels tractors and food transporting trucks, and to get diesel in adequate quantity you must refine crude — which produces gasoline, too, and if you don’t burn it in cars, what are you going to do with it?

EVs are driven by city folk who don’t drive much. Oil consumption is rising. All the EV talk goes on and oil consumption rises. Why? Population rises and the city folk driving EVs never drove much anyway. Eliminating their oil consumption doesn’t affect the global total consumption hardly at all.

Even putting guns to the heads of people and forcing them into an EV will not address the problem of trucks carrying food having to stop and recharge for hours every few tens of miles. The food will spoil. Same effect with tractors planting fields. They can’t get the 1000s of acres planted by the end of planting season if they have to recharge for hours every 50 acres.

Govt decree can’t defeat physics.

What’s he care. The fuel for his fleet of jets and cars are paid for by the taxpayer. “Special Envoy” has its perks.

She’s a soviet-style socialist and her point is to defend the Economic Minister a former Russian citizen who rose to power and who is primarily responsible for the dire mess the Ukraine economy is it today.

The Minister fixed the wholesale price of fuel below market, making it unprofitable for fuel wholesalers to import or sell it.

Right now, there is virtually no fuel of any kind for citizens to buy and they have to bicycle to work. So getting rid of fossil fuel in the Ukraine has been largely accomplished, if only the militarily would stop fighting, the country could become even poorer as farmers stop farming for lack of fuel.
