Over 70 of my relatives were murdered in Poland as part of the Holocaust. One of my great grandfathers was murdered by the NKVD (predecessor to the KGB) in 1937, and 3/4 of his descendants were effectively prisoners for 3 generations in the USSR. Not a single one of them had a gun, so them saying “no” to whatever maltreatment they suffered was to no avail.
Now, I may not be able to stop the large forces of history from doing the same horrible things to my family and I as my distant relatives suffered in the last century, but I can absolutely make sure that if something similar happens to us that it won’t be for free, not THIS time. I will not disarm, period!!!!
When they come for our guns we might as well turn them in bullets-first, because they are going to kill us anyway.
We might even win.
More gun laws until the next event and then more gun laws until they work thier way up to gun confiscation........... and then more school shootings. THEY FOOL NO ONE WITH A BRAIN IN THIER HEAD
GUN CONTROL IS BEING ABLE TO HIT YOUR TARGET
The Brady background system failed due to no one telling it that the Uvalde murderer was a nutcase.
Nobody’s taking anything from us - the socialists in my State succeeded in cutting the police to half of what they had been. We now have drug gang shootouts in city parks. We’re not even on their radar.
How many murders in America are coming from drug gangs? You think the drugs fueling those murders come in from an unidentified flying object.
The weapons? Handguns. U.S manufactures export handguns to Mexico where they are purchased by the Mexican military which are then are sold to state and local police forces. Many of these guns are sold to the drug cartels. The money from such sales supplement police budgets that are always poorly funded by the Mexican city governments. These guns never have government tracking by their serial number. That is a bonus for the drug cartels who can unload those untracked weapons to their distributors in the U.S. drug market. With these weapons, street justices with murder is the way of the drug gangsters. Some people think these guns are the result of straw purchases. Why deal with the messiness of straw purchases when untracked guns can be had from Mexican police departments?
Charlie is correct.
Hopefully the later.
The GOP will fold like a wet paper bag on this issue. Wait and see.
