U.S. officials have deemed reports of Javelin missile sales on the dark web as little more than further Russian disinformation.
"We have no evidence that corroborates this claim," Eric Pahon, Pentagon Spokesman, told FOX Business. "In addition, the source cited is a known Russian propaganda and disinformation network."
Reports first started appearing on social media, showing screenshots of supposed sales on the dark web asking for $30,000 for an FGM-148 Javelin — the famous "fire and forget" anti-tank guided missile system.
The posts claim that the sales come from Ukraine, implying that the weapons have been diverted from official sources.

And we are to believe Pentagon spokesmen. The Pentagon, Joint Chiefs and much of the general leadership in our military lacks all credibility.
I’ll take that as confirmation.
Even after openly admitting that they are not tracking what is being sent to (and after arrival) the blackhole called Ukraine, if it does not go along with or fit the narrative, it’s disinformation, misinformation, a conspiracy theory, etc.

Accountability would be that they track the stuff to and after arrival, but yeah.......keep flushing taxpayer money and goods down the Ukrainian toilet.

We’ll have to wait for a few US fighters to get downed in Syria to assess the veracity of the reports.

We also have absolutely no accountability or accounting for the tens of billions of dollars worth of military materiel sent into Ukraine. It is not out of the realm of possibility that some of it wound up in the wrong hands....or in the hands of 18 year old civilians.

Probably right, FOR ONCE, since my understanding is that one doesn’t have to go to the Dark Web to find them, just certain websites in various countries.
Give it another week and the story will change. Just like the disinformation that Russia was being beaten. Just today the wizards of smart admitted that Russia was not being beaten.
