LG needs to stick to Federal legislation. States should handle school rules. He just wants media attention.
And who will be covering liability for these volunteers that could be shooting at people?
The taxpayer? Themselves privately?
I just dont think people sit and think about all aspects of knee jerk solutions thrown out in the heat of emotions.
There are several federal & USSC cases that affirm the police have no duty to protect. These cases say the police are law enforcement officers. Meaning a law has to be broken before they can act - go in interview, pick up the pieces, etc. then arrest - an arrest enforces the law.
Of course the “Iron Law of Bureaucracy “ also effects all actions. “Iron Law, etc” - Follow procedures & policy take no independent decisions . You step outside of that and no one has your back (Maybe not even then, even if you follow training, policy & procedures!). Bureaucratic decision making is the rule, that way if something goes wrong blame is diffused. Failure is an orphan success has many fathers!

It was not the Navy or Air Force.āŗ
That’s a good way to put it.
That’s the police (blue line on the b&w flag).
The blind squirrel finds a nut!
Sadly, I doubt it will stop the jackboots in our DeepState "intelligence" agencies from kicking your door down if they feel like it.
Any teacher should be allowed to carry as long as they are vetted and have regular training. And more pay if they do it.
A broken clock is right twice a day. Doesn’t change Grahamnesty’s past and present backstabbing. He’s a fake conservative.
Donāt worry. Linda will stab us in the back again tomorrow. Then, he will act conservative right before his re-election.
They planning on removing liability for bad shootings?
āAllowā¦ā
Spoken like a true assholeā¦
Thatās the public servant telling the masters that weāre āallowedā to protect ourselves and our childrenā¦
Tell you what Lindsayā¦ And any other Democrat or rhino piece of crap politicianā¦ I donāt need your freaking permission to defend my life or my familyās life, or my childrenās life, or somebody elseās childrenās lives.
Period.
Your post reminds me of Annapolis graduate Joshua Kaleb Watson who was captain of the Academy rifle team and JROTC rifle team captain at his high school. He died because he was not allowed to be armed while on watch at NAS Pensacola. It sickens me every time I think about his death.
Sweet Light in the loafers Linda.
When my oldest son was in high school, I know there were teachers there who had weapons. They didn’t advertise it. But I know that my son knew how to get to them. These were not JROTC instructors either. They were people who had it in their heads that they were not going to be victims of some school shooter(s) though.
I used to work at a school years ago, and one of my coworkers carried. She was a little cray-cray, but she was prepared. (I don’t think she was crazy for carrying a gun. She was emotionally up and down and seemed unbalanced.) I have had other coworkers over the years that I suspected were carrying. I know one lady who goes shooting regularly with her husband.
I also am reminded of the shooting at the school in Florida a few years ago. Several of the students who were killed were JROTC rifle team members if I recall correctly.
What evidence do you have that’s he’s gay? Just because he’s single?
