This is a simple note to let the community know that we've lost a long time Freeper. "ProudAmericaninCanada" has passed away.
We met once, years ago, as the result of a shared passion for rock music and she introduced me to FR. Kind, funny and smart - she will be missed. Her instincts and view points were informed by a variety of backgrounds.
It's funny - I had been hemming and hawing about whether to say anything here and the longer I waited and didn't see anything, I decided I should do it.
Being that she lived in a different country, we didn't see each other hardly at all. I knew she was sick, but after almost a month went by without me speaking to her, I had a sinking feeling.
Anyway, if any of you were friends or friendly with her here, please know that she is at rest.

Wow, this is sad news.
I do recall she was sometimes frustrated with being in Canada.
I hadn’t seen her post, lately, but had not thought anything had happened.

I spoken to her a few times in Freep Mail.
She really missed her Father who was also a Lawyer.
She had a rough go for a while in her life but managed to come out strong.
I admired her for that.
May she Rest In Peace.
