What I don’t get is why they are supposedly putting opioids in drugs like meth and coke. Has anyone ever seen this explained?

“drug dealers are mixing it with other illegal drugs”

These are not MERCK certified for pharmaceutical manufacturing. The danger from something this potent is if the mix is uneven, all of a sudden someone is taking 2 or 5 times the amount they expect and it’s over.

The original news release. Reporters don’t write articles any more.

Every thing you read is push news by some organization.

ISO is being used more and more to make fake Valium and OxyContin pills. As is the case with fentanyl, counterfeiters use ISO because the ingredients of legitimate opiates are more expensive, difficult to obtain and tricky to combine.

Officially known as isotonitazene, the deadly drug is frighteningly easy to obtain in bulk. A Google search leads to a company based in China, with 24/7 customer service and 10 grams available for just $450.

We legalized all street drugs here in Washington State a couple of years ago. It’s working it’s way east, fight the bastards. You don’t want what quasi legalization brings into your state.

Because just about every inch of green space in major cities in the State is either so toxic from human waste and drug paraphernalia it qualifies for EPA Superfund status or there’s a drug vagrant camp there. Derelict motor homes on city roadsides, some get turned into ramshackle two and three story eyesores on a downtown street.

Thefts are out of control, the Pugetopolis commies have had a war on private property or what they call “stuff”, for years, the poor, downtrodden, and the bipoc people have the RIGHT to steal, dontcha understand! Shoplifters are as brazen as the ones you’ve heard about in Kalifornia and OreGONE. Probably crews running up and down the coast.

It’s so bad over in the 3 county Pugetopolis area that last week a cop turned on his lights behind a suspected stolen car and instead of pulling over, the perp called 911 and told the dispatchers to call of the pursuit the cop was violating 1054! The cop turned off his lights and disengaged. I know this sounds unreal, check out the following link if you doubt me.

Remember all the convicts, including violent felons were released from prison during the scamdemic?

Now

Fentanyl, and now iso, are potent enough to surpass VX nerve agent in the realm of chemical weapons. ISIS + al Queda + synthetic opiates (all freely entering out country via the open southern border) = a WMD nightmare scenario

Having a drug addict (heroin, crack, meth, coke) in the family and seeing the absolute destruction she caused to those around her, it would have been better for everyone if they never revived her from the many ODs she had. Narcan just gives the addict more opportunity to screw up more lives of those around them. Grieving a loss of an addict is far less than the grief that happens at the complete destruction of entire families.

Isotonitazene is a benzimidazole derived opioid analgesic drug related to etonitazene,[2][3][4] which has been sold as a designer drug.[5][6][7] It has only around half the potency of etonitazene in animal studies,[2][8][9][10][11][12][13] but it is likely less potent in humans as was seen with etonitazene (1000 times as potent as morphine in animal models yet only 60 times as potent in humans).[2] Isotonitazene (obtained from an online vendor) was fully characterized in November 2019 in a paper where the authors performed a full analytical structure elucidation in addition to determination of the potency at the Îź-opioid receptor using a biological functional assay in vitro. While isotonitazene was not compared directly to morphine in this assay, it was found to be around 2.5 times more potent than hydromorphone and slightly more potent than fentanyl.[2][14]

I used to regularly post the Equianalgesics table from Wikipedia here, to have context for these new, ultra-powerful drugs.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Equianalgesic

But it's already hopelessly outdated. A recent world survey determined that there are now at least 200 *new* mostly Fentanyl analogs, most of which are significantly stronger than Fentanyl.

While the vast majority are killing illegal drug users, an increasing number of people are dying from copycat drugs. Typically they think they are getting something like Oxycodone for their raging addiction, but instead it is Fentanyl, and they drop dead.

Remember that even Rush Limbaugh got hooked and had to go to rehab to get off the stuff. It's not just street junkies, but middle and upper class people who get ensnared by their physician. They take a legal drug for a major pain problem, and before they know it, they are hooked. The their doctor cuts off their legal supply, since he has no choice.

And since they are desperate, they buy counterfeits and bang, they are a statistic. Counterfeit Oxycodone:
